SenSushi — Restaurant in Mulhouse

On a positive note, great price and nice quality fish. However, the ambiance is not cozy and conversation is difficult because of sound bouncing off the walls. When visiting a sushi restaurant for the first time I usually order chirashi. I find it tells me much about the kitchen since it can be made with care without making it more expensive. The fish was of good quality and 5 types of sashimi topped the bowl. However, the rice was too sweet and while sesame seeds were sprinkled on top it lacked the extra touches like some roe, herbs, scallions, chopped tamago etc to give the extra flair. Very basic. I will be back with my kids for lunch, but as a dinner experience I look for more...

We had already been here once. Had the same experience with the long waiting time, but was told it was an exception. The food that day was okay so we decided to give it one more chance. Today we visited the restaurant again, and it took almost half an hour after we got our drinks just to get our food order in (even though we asked if we could already order the food when we ordered the drinks). After that we waited for more than 1.5 hour to get our main. The restaurant was both times not even half full. I have to say, the food is really mediocre, definitely not worth the wait. Will not...

We visited there by accident, hence the other Restaurant were closed due to vacation timing. Very fresh Sashimi / Sushi quality thanks to the very good skill of the kitchen. Big thumbs up from Japan 👍Moreover, the Chinese kitchen can’t be missed, it’s really sophisticated and far above the expectations. We enjoyed the scallops and Beef.
