la Donutserie — Restaurant in Nîmes

Without question, the best donuts I've had in Europe, and some of the best I've ever had in my life. The owners aren't just churning out the usual junk you find in donut shops around here, but real American style donuts, with some clever French flavor.

I tried the Boston creme (twice!), as well as the Croque Madame (their savory donuts are made with a delicious savory donut dough). Everything was delicious and made to perfection.

They make yeast donuts, yet unlike most, they don't sit heavy. The temptation to eat several will be strong.

This is what real donuts should be like. If you're in the Nîmes area (or even nearby...), this is a must stop shop. Crossing my fingers for a future shop...

We love la Donutserie! The sweet donuts are beautiful, fun, and tasty — clearly made with love and care. We loved the flavors of the month: granola crunch and s'mores. The savory donuts (what an amazing concept!) make a perfect lunch. The curry chicken, brandade, and croque madame were amazing. Even better than the donuts is the warm welcome from the owners (an American - French couple), who treated us like long-lost relatives. We'll definitely be back to try...

I wish I could give more stars than 5, because this shop deserves it for the food, service and ambiance! These were one of the best donuts I ever had. Everything is homemade and the shop is nice and cosy. The dough of the donut is perfect. The service is also amazing and they took the time to explain everything in English for us. You’re missing out if you’re in Nîmes and don’t visit this shop. We’ll definitely be...
