Quai 54 — Restaurant in Nîmes

I don’t think this so said “Italian” cuisine ever even stood near to Italian food. I ate pasta Alex smoked salmon and spinach in cream sauce, and it was more like a soup because of enormous amount of cream. There was very little salmon and nearly any spinach. Other people that were there with me also did not like their meal. Apart from the food the service was extremely bad. We waited around 15 minutes just to place the order and waiters saw that we were trying to catch their attention and they simply ignored us. When they finally came they were not very nice, while we could see that earlier and with other clients they were bursting with positive energy and that they were very talkative. Food was amazing!! I love italien food and eat it a lot everywhere and this was one of the best pastas ive ever had in my life! The food is very authentic and the portions are big. I wasnt even able to finish it and was so sad about it bcs it was so good. The drinks are great to. The servis was great to. All the servers are very nice and fun and you can feel that theyre enjoying being there and interacting with you and eachother. The restarant is right next to the canal and is very beatiful in the evening. Would recommend everyone to go here!! En vacances chaque été au Grau du roi, ma petite famille et moi même sommes venus mangé chez vous la semaine dernière pour la 1ere fois aux vus de vos bon commentaires , arrivés en début de service le soir et très calme on a été servi trop vite et très dérangé pendant nôtre repas, dès que vôtre verre est fini à table hop on vient vers vous,et j'en passe des regards sur votre table pour voir si vous avez fini de mangé!Nôtre fils étant le dernier à terminer à manger la serveuse est venus 2 fois lui demandé si c'était fini et ho doucement quoi il n'y avait pas de clients qui attendaient pour trouver une table! Des Touristes avec une poussette ont souhaité mangé et un serveur leur a dit que tout était réservé et 2min après 3 autres Touristes sans poussette lol reçoivent une table qui est libre c'est une blague!
