What an incredible find! Le Bistronome – La Franqui absolutely lives up to its reputation as one of the top-rated restaurants in the region, and then some.

We came in expecting just a quick lunch, but ended up staying for hours, completely charmed by the perfectly executed Mediterranean dishes with a beautiful French flair. Every bite was a reminder of how good food can (and should) be... fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love and attention to detail.

But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the hospitality. The restaurant is run by a wonderful husband and wife duo who welcomed us like old friends. It felt more like being hosted in someone’s home than dining in a restaurant. We ended up chatting with them for hours, sharing stories, laughs, and language. We practiced our French, they practiced their English, and somewhere in between, a beautiful exchange unfolded.

To top it off, we were treated to the best Ottoman coffee we’ve had in the region: rich, aromatic, and full of tradition. We even had a coffee reading, which was a lovely and unexpected surprise!

By the end of the meal, we weren’t just full, we were genuinely happy. They invited us to return, and we definitely will. Places like this are rare: where outstanding food meets heartfelt human connection.

An absolutely incredible dining experience! This charming Turkish-inspired family restaurant is run by a wonderful husband, wife, and mother-in-law trio — and their passion truly shines through in every detail.

The food was outstanding — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with clear care and authenticity. Every dish we tried was a delight, and we were genuinely impressed by the depth of taste in each bite.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of character — the kind of place where you instantly feel at home. We had an unforgettable night and left with full hearts (and stomachs!).

Restaurant unique à la franqui : Ils proposent des plats très différents de ceux que l’on a l’habitude de manger dans le village. Avec une cuisine turque/grec de quoi vous en faire saliver. Les prix sont similaires aux autres restaurants Ils ont une petite carte qui varie car ils n’utilisent que des produits frais et tout leurs plats sont fait maison. Pour ma part la brochette de poulet mariné était un vrai régale ainsi que le houmous de pistache et cacahuète, vraiment original et délicieux Je recommande fortement ce restaurant pour la qualité des plats proposé. Ils ont beaucoup de café originaux, que vous ne pourrez déguster que chez eux, accompagné de leur délicieux desserts. De plus les gérants et la serveuse sont très chaleureux et très ouvert à la discussion de quoi en apprendre un peu plus sur les plats et le concept du restaurant. C’est vraiment un restaurant de qualité qu’il vous faut absolument tester lors de votre séjours...
