Giovanni Pizza Nice — Restaurant in Nice

As i have said in restaurants before don't expect a "fancy-pants" restaurant with amazing three course menus and a selection of fine wines. That's not what giovanni's is about it's an honest pizza place/ takeaway restaurant. The staff was more than friendly and talkative in a good way. The seating was okay on the sidewalk at that point i had gathered they rather specialized in take aways. Never the less the pizza was amazing from the crust down to the generosity with the toppings. You could really tell the chef (i think giovanni) made pizza with his heart.

Downsides: they do not sell any alcohol (they did let us drink our own which we bought from the shop nearby)

when i ordered bottled water i was given tap but not charged so fully okay on their point.

I recently dined at Giovanni Pizza in Nice and it was an outstanding experience! The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfect crust and a generous amount of fresh toppings. Each bite was a delight, truly one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had.

The service was top-notch as well. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made us feel very welcome.

Moreover, the restaurant was impeccably clean. From the dining area to the restrooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained. It really added to the overall pleasant dining experience.

After a long day in Monte Carlo our feet were giving way. As we walked to our hotel we stumbled across Giovanni’s and grabbed a leaflet. After checking in and looking at the 5* reviews we decided to head back and were not disappointed. We were offered glasses for our bottled drinks (bought elsewhere) which was very considerate as we didn’t buy from here. We took a seat and waited and once our pizza’s were ready we were called. Instead of just paying and leaving GIGI and staff were keen to chat about where we were from. GIGI also gave us a bag for our bottled drinks which was super generous.
