Unfortunately, this was one of the most unpleasant dining experiences I've had in France. We arrived at 11:20 AM and were told the restaurant opens strictly at 11:30. That’s totally fair—but even once 11:30 passed, the staff ignored us while chatting inside and didn’t let us in until around 11:38. Once seated, we asked politely if we could share one focaccia and one dessert, as we weren’t very hungry. The owner refused, citing a policy that each guest must order a full meal—even though the restaurant was completely empty at the time. What made us leave, however, was a comment the owner made while we were reading the menu. He said something dismissive and inappropriate that targeted us based on our ethnicity: “this is what you Asian people do all the time.” That kind of stereotyping is unacceptable in any setting. We left immediately. This made us very upset and uncomfortable. I hope the management reflects on how they treat their guests—everyone...
Read moreDisgusting food and service . Extremely rude staff! A classical tourists trap . If you respect yourself , a place to avoid absolutely! P.S. oh thank you for the reply 😃 ! I guess you spent so much time for finding the right words but your rudeness speaks for itself 😂😂😂 This is your attitude to a client who payed you for the awful salad you made. Being local it s a shame for all of us in Èze to have such a low quality expensive food with a rude staff. Please be noticed that I complained today to the Èze City Hall officials and they confirmed to me your rudeness and misbehavior. So you are known for it . As for the quality of you “homemade food” there is a lot of doubts about the sanitary conditions of your eatery. So be prepared for a sanitary...

The village itself was extremely crowded, so we didn’t expect much from the surrounding area—but this place turned out to be quieter and less busy, likely because the owner prefers to welcome guests who genuinely want to enjoy a proper meal (rather than those just stopping by to use the restroom).
The wine and food were lovely—the salad was fresh and delicious, and the focaccia was very good. We truly enjoyed our time there. If you’re not sure where to eat in Èze, this is a great spot to stop by for a relaxing and...
