Do not recommend. I did not feel welcomed as a guest. I put my bag on a an extra chair, that I took from another table. (Keep in mind multiple tables were free) The first thing the waiter did, was that he told me I can’t have the chair. Which is fine, but he did it in an unkind way. After we ordered, I immediately got the bill before I even had my dishes. Everything felt rushed, and it seemed that he did not want us here. We ordered a tart and an ice cream, they unfortunately got served minutes apart. The dishes were put on our table, without any comment. For the tarte we got a regular fork instead of a dessert one, they might not have them. The ice cream came in a dirty dish. Never got any interaction from the waiter, only time when I tipped a bit more than a euro, he said a least thank you. Location is on a busy shopping street, which is not their fault and the reason we stumbled upon the place on a very hot day. 0,33 sparkling for more than five euros seems highly overpriced for the service experienced.

It gives the classic vibes of a typical french meeting in the morning. It is very well placed, near the church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption and offers a very nice view on the main street (a plus for this place is to be very quite against all odds). The quality of the goods is superb and everything is handmade, so you will not be disappointed about that! The crew is very helpful, nice and always come with a smile (a good point for them is the possibility to speak in english or italian, in addition of the native language). If I had to come back to Nice I would take a breakfast again for sure!

Food good. Staff friendly. Bright well lit cafe bar with an art deco decor. We were in Nice for a week and liked the food so much that we went back a couple of days later. Parmienter du Canard and the Lasagna were excellent. Staff in the evening were able to speak English. Located in Jean Medicin, it is handy for a meal after visiting the shops there. It has a classic French vibe. Low background music means people can talk without having to raise their voices.

We stayed in Nice for 2 days and ate breakfast here both days. I am looking at these reviews and don't understand it. We sauntered into this place not knowing what to expect. We stood there a little confused till a waiter told us to take a seat. He was friendly and hilarious.

We quickly came to realize that a "French Breakfast" was just half a baguette and some coffee. That wasn't going to cut it! We ordered the American Breakfast with the omelette option for €14,50. It was phenomenal. They couldn't even fit all the food on the table. The meal included tea, or coffee or hot chocolate AND and orange juice. There was toast and croissant galore. They catered to our small child and really made us feel welcome in Nice. The following day we opted for a hotel breakfast but it was so disappointing we left and came back to this place for breakfast. This was the best breakfast we had in Nice. This was the ONLY breakfast we had in Nice and despite these reviews I would suggest...

Service was slow and confrontational. We ordered a vanilla milkshake that did not taste good. We asked to send it back where were told it was what we ordered. We asked if it was possible to speak to someone who spoke English to better explain what was wrong in our opinion rather than speak in broken French. Another milkshake was brought instead. In the meantime I started having an allergy to something in the milkshake or possibly something that I had before arriving. When the manager did come he came with two other people which was somewhat intimidating. The manager kept asking for me to try it again before he would take it back. I refused and he relented finally. Very unfortunate situation that could have been handled better. Perhaps it was a language barrier or cultural differences in expectations. I would not recommend this place or give them a second chance. We also saw several people get up and leave for lack of service... Which seemed more from being...
