Boulangerie Pâtisserie Albert Planchais was a welcomed surprised early afternoon on a Sunday in Nice. It offers various savory items including quiche, empanadas, pizza slices, sandwiches and salads to go. We bought a spinach salmon quiche and a courgette quiche along with a veggie-tomato sauce filled empanada and one with cheese, which we took to the airport for dinner before a late flight out. Absolutely incredible coffee and pastries for an unbelievable price. Had the raspberry tart, which was the perfect sweet treat with fresh raspberries on top of sweet custard, and that was my favorite. I also loved the pan au chocolat and the cappuccino I had. Everything was amazing. The service is also impeccable. More of a local place, and in the best way possible. Cannot recommend this...

I visited this bakery around 7:30 AM, expecting fresh goods, but everything on the shelves looked old and far from fresh. Still (my mistake), I bought a few items for breakfast, and unfortunately, they tasted just as they looked,definitely not fresh. The place could use some work to feel more inviting and appealing.
