What a bad experience!!! Me and my girlfriend went to Socrates on sunday, we wanted to order a nice bottle of wine plus the biggest menu and share it, with the option to have somethings else later, but the waiters told us that it was not possible, because we need to order at least other two other starter... we were upset so we asked that we were going to order one starter plus the biggest menu, because we did not want to trash food. The waiters insist that was not possible because they have to make business. Actually the restaurant was quite empty inside and outside. We asked for explanation about this, and just said that was the Boss rules, the boss was not there for explanation. In all my life never somethings like this happen so we just lefted after the advice of the waiters. I don't even know if it's allow to do this, but of curse we left. Place with such this police should not be run. Right around the corner, there is Fleur de Jade, amazing vietnamese restaurant, we had a...
HONTEUX. SCANDALEUX.
We had a family yesterday, and no where to start, by far the worst dinner of my life.
We took 4 Europa menus, and on 3 of the 4 menus, the meat sambousek and cheese sambousek were frozen.
In the dishes, we found in the meat plastic on which their meat supplier "METRO" was written. We pointed it out to the young man working there, "Kader", who replied that it could happen and that if we weren't happy, we had to go elsewhere, and that here he lives "thanks to tourists". and not in French.
At the time of the bill we noticed a surplus of €15, which we contested, but Mr. Kader assured us that "in any case, that's what tourists leave as a tip and that if you're stingy, you don't don't come to his restaurant".
After verification, it seems that this badly brought up and dishonest young man is the son of the managers, and leaves comments (false, therefore) on his own Google page with the pseudonym Kader Djabri.
I'm not talking about cockroaches and mice in the restaurant, under and on the tables, in the kitchen toilets (apparent). Unfortunately, not being able to assign a 0, the rating of 1 is obviously greatly overestimated.
Never again....
Read moreVery Horrible service. I wanted to try it out with my wife. The waiter however was busy with some of his "friends" on another table. Although we have called upon him many times. He kept ignoring us until we were fed up and left.
It is sad to see a well rated restaurant ruined by unprofessional staff. We were given the menu and we have already chosen from it but it seems that they only care about having clients seated instead of served.
Therefore I would not recommend if you are looking for a restaurant with a good service. As for the food we didn't get a chance to order.
As for the restaurant , please increase your staff to cater for all and teach them not to discriminate...
