TLDR: don’t miss Mezza Rosa for solid Lebanese fare!
Before arriving in Nice, I had obsessively researched all of the restaurant options available. Mezza Rosa stood out to me because of the expansive menu, nice environment, and reasonable pricing. I had the opportunity to visit during my trip from the US and was glad I did!
After completing a food tour of Nice earlier in the day, I was looking for a lighter dinner option. I chose Mezza Rosa because we could just share a few mezza and enjoy a variety of fresh, flavorful foods without it being too heavy. We were a group of 4 people and had no trouble securing a table around 7:30pm on a Wednesday though the restaurant was fairly full by the time we left. Service was very warm and welcoming, and was notably prompt/quick. We ordered the following:
Lemonade Hummus Mutabel Muhammarah Fattoush Fatayer Kibbe Knafeh Ma’amoul (to go, a treat for me for later)
All of the food came out fairly quickly and together. Everything looked delicious and tasted great too! Their hummus is done well, as is the Muhammarah (which not every restaurant can pull off). The fatayer was one of my favorites, super flavorful and well seasoned. I sadly no longer eat meat but everyone in my group enjoyed the kibbe as well. The knafeh was tasty but I wish I had room to also try the osmaliye, which sounded amazing. I took some ma’amoul to go as a welcome break from the usual morning croissant.
It is worth noting that my mother is from Syria and I love to cook, so I can be a tough critic of Middle Eastern food but I was very happy with everything we ordered and would recommend Mezza Rosa to anyone looking for a tasty and healthy dinner option and/or seeking a taste...

The proprietor was very welcoming. As this is my third day speaking French, it was very helpful that he is also fluent in English. He was extremely polite in how he helped me with my pronunciation by repeating what I said as if he were saying it to ensure he correctly understood me. For example, Qu est-ce que vous nous conseillez? He fixed my conseillez since I'd never practiced it before. Thank you Geraldine!
He and his family moved to Nice three months ago along with their chef from their Paris restaurant to enjoy the sunny Mediterranean climate that can't be achieved in Paris.
Every dish was freshly made, including the hummus. I tried the three meat kabobs. Lamb, chicken and beef. I could not believe how tender the meat was. Obviously cooked fresh after ordered, not in the morning and reheated when ordered.
I highly recommend this resto.

We discovered the restaurant online and decided to try it based on its excellent reviews. We were so delighted that we had dinner there every night in our entire 9-day stay in Nice. We tried various dishes, appetizers, and desserts, and all were outstanding. Even the lemonade was amazing.
The ingredients are very fresh and high quality. Everything was cooked to perfection.
Over the years, we have eaten in tens of Lebanese restaurants in many countries, including in Lebanon. Mezza Rosa ranks among the very top.
Additionally, we found the price to be extremely reasonable and even low for the exceptional quality of food. We also found the quantity generous.
Besides the food, the ambience is lovely, the is service great, the staff is very friendly, and the location is central.
We have been in France for a month and ate at many restaurants. The food in this restaurant...
