The manager threatened and intimidated us because we told them the food was bad.
The pasta with mushroom and (some tasteless) cheese we ordered was the worst meal I’ve ever been served in a restaurant.
Absolutely no flavour.
Because we were starving, we both ate about 1/4 each but couldn’t eat anymore because it was just awful.
We asked the waiter if her could remove it from the bill as we didn’t want to pay €22 for an inedible dish.
He apologised for the food and asked if we would like some (presumably equally terrible) pasta alternative.
We declined and asked if we could just pay for our lager (though somewhat overpriced at €6.90 per 50cl).
He told us this wasn’t possible and if we didn’t pay he would call the police.
Ok, call the police we said. But instead of the police, the long-blond-haired owner turned up with his entourage of 5 chain-smokers who came to guard the entrance.
The owner stormed over to us, put his hand round the back of my chair and leaned into my face. Slamming his fist onto the table he exclaimed “You pay. You pay now”.
We told him that the food was unacceptable and we didn’t want to pay. The other owner brought our plates of food and threw them onto the table. “You ate your food and you must pay for it”.
Trying to reason with them we asked if we could just pay for what we ate and offered 50%, which they said wasn’t possible. With a final slam of his fist on the table, the owner left to wait for us by the entrance.
It was clear that they wouldn’t let us leave or pay what we wanted to so we forked out €57.60 for two beers and two barely eaten pasta dishes.
This wasn’t just being ripped off, this felt like theft.
Avoid at all costs. There are many other options in the resort that are staffed with nice people...
Read moreMy husband and I organised our wedding in Isola 2000 this summer with the amazing and essential help of Amandine and Lea!
As regulars at the Dos Hermanos restaurant, we were thrilled by the idea of celebrating our love at their venue.
Amandine and Lea, the cooks and the rest of team went out of their way to offer: amazing food, open bar services (Aperol Spritz as a favorite), awesome vibes (it was as though they were a real part of the wedding group), topped off with an unforgettable Mountain View sunset!
We are so grateful for them making the organisation of food/beverage and venue decorations the smoothest possible. Also for catering an “apero” at another venue before the diner festivities.
Thank you for organising such a wonderful wedding.

Read moreTwo stars one for the ambiance (very nice) and the other for the kindness of the waiters (we were basically alone so maybe need to review this when the place is full). Definitely overpriced. 20 euros for a micro burger with micorwaved bread with oily overcooked fries is very expensive, but serving a popsicles for dessert as "icecream" in a kids menu is closer to scam then other, with my son going to the backery downstairs to have a proper dessert. Nice beer though. Next time well eat either a sandwich either cross the...
