Café Couleur — Restaurant in Périgueux

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit this cafe in early November 2023. I will treasure the memories and will definitely revisit next time I’m travelling in France. The couple who own and run the location were welcoming, thoughtful and kind.They are fluent in English as well as French which is very helpful. The location is close to the city, a short walk which wets the appetite and desire for a great coffee or one of the many Teas and a small meal and treat, so many delicious options. Thank you to the owner for being so kind in explaining the menu and even asking where I'm from. I originally wanted to have something to eat before leaving, but I realized I didn't have enough time, so I just ordered a cup of green matcha. Also, my friend told me that this café uses a wood-fired roaster, Café Couleur. I didn't have enough time to ask if I could buy some beans—again, I was in a rush.

If I had discovered this café earlier, I could have taken my time enjoying a meal when I was in Périgueux last...

Great cafe close to the train station - Highly recommend!

My husband and I went after our train was cancelled due to weather to grab food and wait out a bad storm. The cafe is really cute with comfy chairs/sofa, with really good wifi and nice background music.
