Crêperie Restaurant Crêpes & Dentelles — Restaurant in Périgueux

We entered (and were pleasantly seated) in the restaurant at 8:15pm which was 45 minutes before closing. The young man at the front invited us to sit inside the restaurant, after being enticed by the idea of a quick crepe with ice cream and a coffee, we entered.

Unfortunately after taking our order for a crepe with ice cream and an espresso, 40 minutes passed and not a single update or check-in was performed from the sever. They clearly forgot about our meal and order or perhaps the ticket was lost in the kitchen, perhaps they even forgot we were there.

40 minutes for a coffee and a crepe? really?

Also; how you speak to tourists in your replies is disgusting. I have lived in périgueux and visited here a lot when younger - you are shameful: “american tourists” is such a gross...

We visited Perigeux when staying about 40 minutes south and, after wandering the streets admiring the architecture, we were ready for some food but it was only 4:30 in the afternoon, and French tradition dictates that almost nowhere is serving food! This worked out well for us - a quick look on Maps revealed this crêperie was open and, having been in France for nearly a week without having a crêpe, it was like fate had stepped in 😀. We both had a savoury crêpe each (cheese, mushrooms and creamed spinach) followed by two sweet ones (one salted butter caramel and a crêpe Suzette). They were all really lovely. I absolutely love this place! The galettes there are incredible, especially the Crêpes Périgourdine. The duck breast was so tender, that it melted in my mouth.
