Red restaurant express d'Hippo — Restaurant in Palaiseau

Where do i start.....firstly and to there credit, its a beautiful place with a great veiw of the planes 5/5...the staff are ok but nothing special 3/5 .....the food oh my god -5/5 they offer a fixed menu at approx 29€ consisting of starter, main and desert, the starter i chose was eggs mayonnaise to which i recieved a plate with 1 and a half eggs and a dollop of mayonnaise ( how creative ) literally the simplest dish but they overboiled the egg and it was harder than rubber....secondly i had thwle 180g ( more like 100g ) fillet steak (cooked medium) it arrived very underweight and very over cooked accompanied with dry old fries and a bowl of letuce ...finally i had the cheese cake for dessert which was actually not that bad ( because it was obviously frozen and mas produced offsite)......then the wine, i ordered the most expensive glass of wine on the menu at approx 9€ for a glass as it was the only wine i recognized from the list, lets just say it didnt taste like the wine i have drunk many times before.....in short avoid this place at all costs and go to McDonald's or one of the other restaurants...deeply...

I felt the need to write, to warn others from visiting your establishment at Orly airport. On arrival we were greeted with a smile, and seated, then given menu’s , plus drinks options. Your staff clearly had more pressing issues, as they continued conversations at the bar area. Not being ageist, (as I’m 63 myself) but two male, and one female , let’s say late 40s showed no interest in our experience, until one staff member kept asking my daughter’s questions about what’s the capital city’s of many countries? And took pleasure in correcting them when they were wrong. All In full view of other customers . Not once did they ask if we needed anything? Or if the food was okay? Even when they took my tray away with most of the food untouched, was I asked. Can I suggest you send someone undercover, witnessing what we experienced , or replace the staff with people who are professional, enthusiastic, polite, friendly, rather than the people who obviously been there far too long. Then you might not get so many one...

Very rude waiter and terrible service! We visited this restaurant yesterday afternoon and we won’t visited again. Apparently if you don’t speak French and you are a Asian customer, you don’t even deserve to get any cutlery and napkins when you have your food:)

The waiter was extremely rude and arrogant. When we tried to order food he first shushed us and then came with a extremely unpleasant attitude. When we wanted to pay our bills separately, he didn’t even acting like willing to listen to us and directly assumed that we were paying altogether! This was so unbelievable specially happened in a restaurant with relatively overpriced food.

Whether this gentleman was having a very bad day (which I didn’t think he was cuz he seemed so pleasant when he chatted with a white couple who speak French) or he really needed to watched his attitude and learned to respect every customer when he served...
