Amorcito — Restaurant in Paris

We had an amazing experience at Amorcito. Since we rarely get to enjoy date nights, we’ve become quite selective about where to go. Normally, I avoid places with free seating and no reservations, but we decided to arrive close to opening time to secure a spot, and we’re so glad we did!

Our visit to Amorcito was both memorable and nostalgic, transporting us back to Mexico City. Every dish felt authentic, bursting with flavor while maintaining a simple, unpretentious presentation. The food truly spoke for itself. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, from the Padrón peppers to the Jamón and even the Guacamole, which was leagues above what you typically find in Paris.

We ordered the Birria and al Pastor tacos, which are part of my “holy grail” of tacos (along with Lengua tacos which I hope will be added to the menu someday). They did not disappoint. We were genuinely impressed that such a small kitchen could produce such bold, vibrant flavors.

Though we were quite full, we couldn’t resist trying the churros when they were offered to us by the owners and they were phenomenal! Crispy, light, and perfectly executed, they reminded us of the warmth and generosity we experienced in Mexico City. That small gesture truly captured the heart of Mexican cuisine, where hospitality and flavor go hand in hand. It was the perfect way to end the meal.

Authentic Mexican cuisine is rare in Paris, where most establishments lean toward Tex-Mex with diluted flavors and ingredients. Amorcito stands apart, offering a true taste of Mexico. It’s one of the few places in Paris where you can experience real Mexican flavors, and I can count the number of such restaurants on one hand.

Délicieux, le cadre est sympa, j'étais venue aujourd'hui avec ma collègue et mon nourrisson. Tout était délicieux. Tacos et churros. J'étais venue surtout pour les churros, j'avais vu une vidéo sur Instagram où on voyait que les churros étaient bien croustillants, l'intérieur c'était parfait pas du tout pâteux comme on voit ailleurs habituellement, J'ai même pris des churros à emporter pour mon fils et mon compagnon, j'étais rentrée 3h après c'étaient toujours aussi croustillant. Juste la serveuse était souriante Attention quand vous arrivez au numéro 119 on tombe sur une pharmacie. Mais le restaurant est juste à côté avec inscription sur la devanture Track 119 il faut rentrer à l'intérieur. Il y a trois restaurants regrouper au même endroit. J'ai enlevé une étoile car nous avons eu du mal à trouver l'endroit 07/10/ Réponse au propriétaire : l'étoile en moins c'est par rapport au fait que vous étiez agacé quand je vous ai eu téléphone pour vous demander où se trouvait l'endroit car j'étais au 119 mais c'était une pharmacie à la place, et ça faisait la 3 ème fois que je vous ai appelé, les deux autres fois c'était sur répondeur. Ma collègue elle voulait laisser tomber, et partir, je lui ai dit d'attendre, on va essayer encore. Ça faisait un bon moment qu'on ne trouvait pas, en plus avec mon nourrisson de 6 mois qui avait faim et je ne pouvais pas me poser pour lui donner à manger. Normalement c'était moi qui devrait être agacé vu la situation mais ce n'était pas le cas. La serveuse je lui ai parlé du fait que que vous étiez agacé quand je vous demandais les informations, elle m'a dit que c'est parce que ça arrive souvent qu'on vous appelle pour ça. Dans ce cas il faut trouver une solution pour éviter ces appels alors que vous êtes occupés avec les plats, et quand nous sommes arrivés on arrivait pas à commander, pas de réseau, on arrive bien à scanner, ensuite on ne voyait rien donc il fallait aller à la sortie pour pouvoir commander. Finalement la serveuse a pris des notes. Mes churros à emporter, étaient servi dans une assiette quand ma collègue est venue les chercher, alors que j'avais demandé à emporter, ensuite ça été mis dans la petite boîte en carton quand ma collègue a dit a que c'est pour partir avec. Vous voyez c'est un tout, la cuisine était parfaite, mais il y a d'autres choses qui n'allait pas. Et comme je l'avais mis tout en haut seul la serveuse était souriante, moi j'étais venue car vous étiez souriant tous les deux sur la vidéo de Instagram, là ce n'est pas le cas. Vous voyez les 4 étoiles ce n'est pas pour vous embêter Je reviendrai une autre...

Amorcito se encuentra en el interior de un food market en el que Marta y Daniel destacan entre el resto por la calidad y sabor de su comida, además de por su atención constante. Todos los platos estaban deliciosos… el guacamole espectacular con unos totopos de escándalo, las croquetas especiales, la quesadilla y los tacos sabrosos y generosos en cantidad, pero he de elogiar los churros preparados al momento. No es fácil encontrar algo así fuera de España o México y ellos han conseguido unir lo mejor de cada país. Sitio óptimo para convertirse en clientes habituales. ¡Gracias de nuevo a los dos!

Amorcito is located inside a food market where Marta and Daniel stand out from the rest for the quality and flavour of their food, as well as their constant attention. All the dishes were delicious... the guacamole was spectacular with some wonderful totopos, the croquetas were outstanding, the quesadilla and the tacos were tasty and generous in quantity, but I have to praise the churros prepared on the spot.
