Au Faubourg — Restaurant in Paris

This gem was close to our hotel. We ate here twice. The happy hour was good value. We enjoyed lovely cocktails and nice wine with our meals The food is exceptional, authentic french and good value. The soupe a l’oignon was sensational as was the stuffed cabbage dish. The staff we came across were very helpful given our limited french. The guys were happy and fun. They could do with one extra service staff given they were busy. There was only one on the floor and a bar man. We weren’t in a rush so it was ok. This is the only reason I took off a point for service. Overall, a really great experience. I would highly recommend. I hope to go back one day....

Visited Paris on August 5-7th 2019

Me and my friend searched our hotel nearby of the location. The guys helped us very kind and they offered us a free drink. So we went very thankful and came back in the evening to get the offered drink and stayed for another drink but we didn’t eat. We diced to go for another place bc we went hungry for arabic🙈 The location is nice and also lovely for a open relaxing enjoyment! Thank you very much!!!! ♥️

Pire accueil possible. Aucun service après 30 minutes en salle. Serveur médiocre et désagréable au possible. C'est fou d'être en tord, de ne pas trouver l'humilité de s'excuser ou de se rattraper et d'être en plus désagréable..... Monsieur, changez de métier.

P.S. : Je suis sévère car votre serveur n'avait aucune raison d'être désagréable. J'ai bien vu que vous étiez occupés, je ne l'ai pas appelé car je n'étais pas pressée. Parcontre, lorsqu'il s'est rendu compte de ma présence - après avoir servi de nouveaux clients - il est tout de même reparti sans venir me voir... A ce stade, j'étais prête à partir et je n'ai pas compris son ton désagréable lorsqu'il s'est décidé à me servir. Il n'a même pas pris le temps de prendre ma commande et est reparti en se plaignant de ma présence. J'ai patienté 30 minutes pour être servie mais votre serveur n'a pas pu patienter 5 minutes le temps que je me décide. Superbe accueil, aucune bienveillance. Bonne...
