I was mislead by overall very good opinions. Unfortunately my experience with this place was rather poor. The decor and vibe may be having their charm, but the food quality was bad. I got industrial, very tasteless puree and super dry duck portion. The price was low for the area and service was super fast thought so I would still it higher, if not for this place manager towards me. He was offering a welcome drink to people waiting for a seat near the bar, but I I wasn’t offered one. I asked for a table for 1, he said they have such table, but after a moment of waiting near the bar this manager made a smirky comment, not even for me (!!) but for a waitress, that they will give me a table with a young guy sitting already there and we can chat. Sorry but I would rather decide about this myself - it was kind of rude and dismissing how I was...
Read moreTried this place based on the reviews, was so bad I felt I had to write my first good review ever. Food was almost ok, the service was horrible, was ignored by the waiter so much that we sat with dirty plates in front of us while he served everyone around us. The people crammed in beside us finished their meal, desert, paid and left before he cleared our dishes even though we finished before them. The apple pie dessert was burned black and hard on the bottom, his excuse was he couldn't see it. Took us 2 hours to finish dinner and left totally unsatisfied. The waiter totally ruined the evening and the food was mediocre to bad. I wish I had taken photos of the food to post but have never had such a bad experience before that I felt I had to write a review. I've been to Paris 4 times and know what to expect but this was...
Read moreI was walking by during lunch time and saw this very small restaurant with lots of people sitting inside and outside. I thought that there was no way I could find a seat during such a busy time, but I was wrong. They sat me at a table for four right next to a couple, and then another person sat right in front of me. This felt like sitting at a communal table. A bottle of tap water and a bread basket was placed on a table for all of us to share. The menu was in both French and English, and the waiters spoke English so it was easy to place an order. The food was delicious, especially the confit duck leg and tart tatin. The service was fast and efficient. This is a place I can definitely recommend for lunch if you don't mind sharing a table...
