Awful customer service received a this store on June 5 2022 between 13:00 and 14:00. \After waiting a long queue to pay, with only 2 tills, when there was only a lady in front of me at the queue and myself, one of the cashiers decided to close the till. The lady in front of me had loads of clothes to return, exchange and buy and from the beginning it was clear she was in no rush to pay and that she did not care a lot of whoever was behind her. I kindly asked the cashier that had close the till if given that I was the last one in the queue and that I had few pieces to buy,, if she could she could help me to pay. She said no and pointed out at the other cashier besides her. all other Zara staff, including the manager, was looking at me smirking, and nobody tried to help. It took me additional 20 to 30 minutes until I could pay. It was not only the cashier that close, who was quite rude to me afterwards, but also the rest of the staff, including the other cashier, who did not do anything to try to finish with the other customer in a reasonable amount of time, and that looked at me in an amused way and did not do anything to help me. I have never had such bad experience in any Zara store...
Read moreEnormous problem- and in my opinion, and extremely serious incident- in this store while attempting to make a return of an online item. The item was a linen dress, in perfect condition with tags on, well within the return deadline. Being linen, it was, of course, wrinkled. The manager, who was extremely rude and combative from the start, refused to take it back because it was wrinkled. When I tried to argue that this was not Zara's return policy she became even more combative and called security (!!) to throw me out of the store. (I left of my own accord, of course). I'll admit I was annoyed but I was in no way rude, abusive, or inappropriate. I did not even raise my voice. I worked in customer service for years and would NEVER be out of line with staff. All I was trying to do was argue a "return policy" that, according to Zara reps I just spoke with is incorrect. Wrinkled items can of course be taken back.
