L'Ours Bar — Restaurant in Paris

I visited L'Ours Bar and tried two cocktails, but unfortunately, neither met expectations.

The first, Beetea Boop, was very unbalanced in flavors. It felt like a mix of strong, clashing tastes that were hard to distinguish. A good cocktail should enhance the flavor of the alcohol, not make it unpleasant.

The second, Point Vert, was made with peach syrup, basil syrup, and lime. I don’t have much to say—it simply wasn’t enjoyable. Think of matcha, but in an unappealing alcoholic version.

While the drinks were reasonably priced, they weren’t worth it. Even the water had a strong aftertaste.

That said, the service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly, which was the highlight...

Celebrated my birthday here this past weekend and all was fantastic, bartenders were super sweet, place was decorated nicely, and the music was great (we love throwbacks). I've gone to their other bar La Loutre and also just as great, although a tad bit smaller, nonetheless a great experience. Def recommend spending time here (or a birthday) and love that you can reserve the space online, super efficient!...

Les cocktails sont délicieux, il n’y a aucun doute la dessus. En revanche, si je devais noter l’amabilité des serveurs je mettrai à peine une étoile!!! Lorsque vous venez commander au comptoir ils ne vous regardent même pas, jamais de bonjour ni merci. J’ai passé plus 10mn a attendre au comptoir, en étant complètement ignorée alors qu’il n’y avait que moi devant. De même pour mon ami, qui attendait de pouvoir commander et les 2 serveurs discutaient tranquillement devant lui au lieu de prendre sa commande. Puis quand ils daignent vous regarder et prendre votre commande, lorsqu’ils vous déposent les verres, c’est limite s’ils ne vous les balancent pas sur la table. Sans compter le fait qu’ils ont oublié notre commande et que nous avons du relancer après 20mn d’attente. Ils ont également servi un cocktail avec alcool à mon amie qui précisait qu'elle en voulait un sans alcool. C'est honteux!
