La Grille — Restaurant in Paris

It was a lovely warm evening and we dined on their tables that were set up on the square opposite. A very peaceful and pleasant location in a quieter, more residential area of the city.

I just want to say that I travelled to France on a school trip when me and a few of my friends stumbled across this absolute gem. We all ordered the same burger since we weren’t yet familiar with the french dishes but it was magnificent.

The ambience felt rustic and welcoming, even the server was very nice to us and gave us a great experience. I know this may seem like overkill but truly not a day goes by where we don’t talk about how good it was.

Our family of four stopped in for a mid-afternoon “mini-répas” while waiting for access to our rental flat. We had such a lovely time! The food was delicious — Camembert, burrata + tomatoes, and crusty baguette. Our server Lena was so attentive and gracious, encouraging us in our fumbling attempts to speak French and speaking English when it was clear that we were lost.
