PARIS' BEST KEPT SECRET!!!
I was referred to dine at Bamboche Comptoir via the concierge at the Peninsula Hotel. Bamboche Comptoir is best described as a cozy bistro that offers classic French dishes paired with a modern flair. Within each bite it was evident that the ingredients were carefully sourced. Menu items were local to France, thus representing homage to different regions. It was shared that the menu changes seasonally to keep up with their credo of sourcing authentic and organic ingredients.

Read moreIf you have a list of restaurants in Paris that you want to visit, then definitely add Bamboche Comptoir to it! The atmosphere you feel is that this is a gathering of old friends, not unknown customers. Well done to the team, the credit for this pleasure goes to all the people there - in the hall, behind the bar and in the kitchen! The quality of the products is without compromise, no matter if it's starters, main courses or desserts. In conclusion - a pleasant atmosphere with good music, delicious food, good service! I totally recommend and...

The steak tartare was fresh and well-seasoned, the lentils with soft egg and lardons were comforting, and the fish dish was cooked just right with a nicely balanced sauce.
The starters and sides—like the chickpea fries and pâté—were also spot on. Desserts were classic and satisfying, especially the crème brûlée which had a proper crisp top and creamy base.
The space is relaxed, service is easygoing but attentive, and the whole experience felt grounded. If you're looking for authentic French cooking without the performance, this place is...
