La Mangue Verte — Restaurant in Paris

The WORST experience I’ve ever had in my life. If I could give negative stars I would. To start off, we had 4 people but only 2 were eating as they were not hungry. Two of us ordered food, 1 order of steamed shrimp dumplings, 1 order of chicken and shrimp spring rolls, 1 order of pork dumplings. The pork dumplings were balls. My shrimp dumplings were 1 shrimp dumpling, 1 of I have no idea, 1 shrimp ball, 1 pork ball- I DO NOT EAT PORK. The pork dumplings were just balls. After we ordered food the server was laughing and showing everyone her order for “4” people- and I mean she was telling everyone she worked with to look at the order. They were obviously talking shit about us while laughing and looking at us. I should’ve just gotten up right then and there to leave. Food was terrible. Atmosphere was horrendous. I got up to pay and after I paid the server had the nerve to ask if everything was ok. I said they served me pork which I don’t eat and her response back was “come on”. Walked out of there so quickly. Also, if you want water they have no idea what that is- I had to show a bottle of water for them...

If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. my sister, mother, boyfriend, and myself all went here to get a quick bite to eat. My mom and bf were not hungry so my sister and I decided to get something while they just tagged along. We were greeted by the owner assuming, all was going well. We ordered shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, and chicken + shrimp spring rolls. Remember this is for 2 people. Once she realized it was only for 2 of us and not the 4 of us she proceeded to laugh in our face and show all of her coworkers and laugh at us. First off very rude. I’m giving you my service and you laugh at me? My sister got 1 shrimp dumpling and another with I don’t even know what. She also got pork, she doesn’t eat pork. What if she was allergic? the food was very mid. very creepy environment and ignorant snobbish people. As for the owner or the main lady, very rude and not professional. I ordered some mixed dumplings ( the portion consists of 4 pieces), 4 chicken spring rolls, a thai shrimp salad ans durian sticky rice as dessert. Both portions andnprices were reasonable. Food is fresh and good and tou have plenty of choice (mainly Vietnamese and Thai dishes), maybe even too much and it is true that they show a picture of each dessert without providing any explanation, but you can search for additional details on ypur smart phone.
