Pathetic creation of Eurocentric self-cultural appropriation. Not worth any single penny. Make Viet food if you’re Viet. Make Khmer food if you’re Khmer. Be proud of your own culture and your own food before completely spoiling any other. I’m sure that way you’re too gonna attract customers with the cuisine that you actually know something about long as you obtain even the slightest bit of cooking techniques. At least Panda Express wouldn’t come fooling around in a Romanised Mandarin name. Told the guy with my highest French proficiency that ‘ce n’est pas cuisine Indonésie’ which he literally ignored. My family and I had a great time at Le Sarawan earlier this year. The restaurant was clean and had a warm inviting atmosphere, especially because the staff was and willing to explain some of the Southeast Asian entrees. They recommended these dishes and we really enjoyed them, which were beef loc lac and nasi goreng. Both were flavorful and tasty. The portions were just right.

It is a great place to try something new and interesting along with a great atmosphere at a reasonable price. My family and I will be back to enjoy the food next time...

Bonjour, pourtant habituée de ce restaurant et pour le bœuf loc lac, j'ai été très déçue hier. Nous arrivons à 12h30 parmi les premiers, on arrive nous donne la carte et.... plus rien. Les autres personnes arrivent s'installent, ont en attente de chips crevettes, ... nous avons dû les demander et appeler pour la commande. Sachant que la carte a complètement changée, plus nos entrées préférées donc nous n'avons commandé que notre plat valeur sûre, bœuf loc lac. Alors là commence le manège, tous les autres clients reçoivent leurs entrées et plats et nous... rien. Attentes jusqu'à 13h50 pour nos plats et après avoir relancé les serveurs plusieurs fois. Ils s'excusent et nous disent à chaque fois que ça va venir!! Et non les autres personnes ont le temps de finir entrées et plat et nous rien! La serveuse leur propose même desserts et nous pas de plat, une blague!!! Moi étant malade je voulais partir mais après avoir attendu si tard dur de changer de resto. Du coup nos plat arrivent à 13h50, plus d'une heure après! Et les seules excuses sont "comme les autres avaient des entrées et pas nous, du coup nos plats étaient pour après" Bref, aucune justification, et même aucun geste commercial de leur part... Vraiment une déception pour un endroit où nous sommes habitué et la carte a changée. Dommage pour cette dernière expérience pour nous...
