Mesures — Restaurant in Paris

If you are looking for a great bar in Paris, look no further. The bar’s concept is to pair cocktails with songs spun by a live DJ over vinyl or eight-track. In fact, the bar is a partnership between a bartender and a DJ, both of whom are at the top of their game. I spoke to both of them for quite a while and as a tourist learned a lot about the local food & beverage industry.

I had the Bernardo O’Reilly which uses a French liqueur Gentiane. It was spirit-forward, yet delicious! The accompany song was fantastic, I love the vibe of this place.

There are other bars in the area but as somebody who frequents the World’s Top 50 Bars, I cannot give Mesures a stronger...

Right from the start, we were already welcomed warmly, the cocktails were absolutely worth the price, definitely an unique creative menu with its own personality, wide range of choices for all flavor profiles. And finally I just want to emphasize the hospitality of the staff here, namely Sean who was our server for the night, it's rare that we meet a person with a passion and energy like his, he was enthusiastic and smiling always, he had deep understanding of the menu and helped us chose our cocktails based on our preferences, and it all turned out perfect, his energy just brought our experience and all the guests'...

Una pessima esperienza che non consiglio a nessuno

Siamo andati in questo bar a Parigi con un gruppo di amici per bere qualche cocktail e mangiare qualche piatto leggero. Purtroppo, l’esperienza si è rivelata deludente sotto molti punti di vista.

Partendo dal cibo, i piatti erano mediocri, sicuramente non all’altezza delle aspettative o dei prezzi. I cocktail? Nella media, niente di speciale, anzi piuttosto dimenticabili. Tuttavia, non è questo il motivo principale per cui sconsiglio assolutamente questo posto.

Il cameriere che ci ha serviti era gentile ed educato, ma l’esperienza è stata rovinata da una persona che lavora nel locale, probabilmente il proprietario o qualcuno che si occupava della musica (forse il DJ). Ha avuto un atteggiamento che definirei maleducato, malizioso e assolutamente inaccettabile.

Ecco cosa è successo: ero in fila per il bagno con una mia amica. Lei, non riuscendo a chiudere la gonna da sola, ha aperto la porta per chiedermi aiuto, e ci siamo chiuse insieme in bagno per un minuto, giusto il tempo di sistemarla. Questa persona, con capelli lunghi e grigi, ha iniziato a bussare in maniera violenta alla porta, creando un’atmosfera molto aggressiva. Quando abbiamo aperto la porta, ci ha urlato contro in modo sgarbato, insinuando che stessimo facendo chissà cosa e minacciandoci che se “una cosa del genere” fosse successa di nuovo, non saremmo state più le benvenute nel locale.

Trovo assurdo e offensivo essere trattate in questo modo per qualcosa di così banale. Il suo atteggiamento è stato maleducato, irrispettoso e violento, completamente fuori luogo.

Per prezzi del genere e per la qualità del servizio e dei prodotti, nessuno si merita di essere maltrattato così. Non consiglio questo posto a nessuno: Parigi ha molto di meglio da offrire. Una...
