Petit Bistrot d'Auteuil — Restaurant in Paris

Cozy area for a restaurant but the food and the service are not up to par. We were four for lunch on a Sunday and were walked over to our table after 2-3 waiters said hello to us and passed by us. Once seated, we realized the waiters were very short staffed and we waited about 20-30 minutes before placing our food order. On a positive note, the food came out fairly quickly. Unfortunately the steak was cold, fries not very well cooked and the detox salad didn’t seem fresh (quinoa didn’t look fresh) and came with no vinaigrette at all so it was quite dry and not very filling . Before ordering I asked our waiter if it would be possible to add salmon to the detox salad, and he told us he would check but never did and I was served my salad without a mention of the salmon. We also had to ask the table next to us if we could borrow their salt and pepper and vinaigrette..All in all, the waiters did their very best considering how short staffed they were, running around and helping a full house but unfortunately we won’t be returning to...

On our first night of a recent trip to Paris, my wife and I had dinner at Petit Bistro d’Auteuil, based on a referral from our hotel. Good call.

First and foremost, this is a bistro. We’re not talking white linen tablecloths. This is pub food territory. That said, we had a very good experience there. My wife had the cheeseburger, I had the chicken “burger” (basically, anything on a bun in France is categorized as a burger). Both were well-seasoned and the cheeseburger was cooked to order. Excellent frites and salad as accompaniments.

Service was very good and prices were most reasonable. If you’re not in the mood for classic French haute cuisine, you can’t...

Je déteste mettre de mauvais avis mais malheureusement ce n'était franchement pas terrible. La terrasse est très jolie, la nourriture est correcte (rien de dingue, simple mais agréable), accessible, mais le service était vraiment pas top.

Je sais qu'on est venus un soir particulier (réouverture), que peut être c'est encore en rodage mais tout de même...

on arrive, on se met devant le truc pour patienter et être placés. On s'adresse à 3 personnes, qui nous disent toutes "j'arrive", sans jamais revenir. Je suis navrée, mais ce n'est pas à nous de nous manifester pour être placés, les serveurs devraient voir que des gens attendent et les placer (surtout quand il y a au moins 3 tables vides), ou au moins s'excuser de nous faire patienter.

on a dû attendre au moins 20 minutes la carte. On nous a rien proposé entre temps. Pendant tout ce temps, nous avons été ignorés, et le couvert n'est pas bien mis (manquait couteaux, verres). À nouveau, nous avons dû par nous même nous manifester pour obtenir quelques égards

le rosé arrive, tiède, sans seau de glace. Mon père en demande un et le serveur nous l'apporte. Je trouve ça étonnant de ne pas avoir apporter le seau direct.

on a attendu une bonne demi heure nos plats, et quand ils arrivent on dit en rigolant au serveur "enfin" qui nous dit "comme vous pouvez le voir nous sommes nombreux aujourd'hui". Ce n'était pas le réponse espérée. S'excuser est la moindre des choses...

Bref le service n'était pas méchant, loin de là, mais globalement assez inefficace. J'étais un peu embêtée d'avoir proposé cet endroit à mes parents qui ont trouvé cet endroit un peu nul. Malheureusement, nous ne reviendrons pas, et c'est bien dommage, avec une si...
