I came with my grandma at lunch hour. It was packed, so I recommend making a reservation! We got there at 1:30PM on a Friday, and came back at 2PM for a table. The staff was very helpful and kind, they were also quite knowledgeable about all the dishes. Everything was tasty, and the portions are big! We took some of our good home. We had a pad Thai (chicken & shrimps), the chicken with basilic, fried egg and rice, mango sticky rice (my favourite dish, highly commend!) and jasmine tea. We had a great time! Again, it does get busy around lunch time and can be a bit loud at times, but by 2pm it empties pretty quickly (kitchen closes at 2:30, restaurant at 3). Highly recommend :)

Not any traditional Thai restaurant that I’ve been to. We ordered the beef green curry and found the meat was medium rare and they served it with rice on the side so we were a bit surprised as to the combination, and when we asked the server , he said it has a french twist. Really authentic. I loved their mango sticky rice, and they have great selections of cocktails. Verygood plating. Great and helpful staff. Recommended also to book in advance. We tried going in without reservations but no place for us , they offered the terrace but it was raining so we just booked for other day.

I ordered the bar sashimi (a quick yummy appetizer while I waited for my main) and the vegetable pad thai (pictured). The pad thai was delicious, really good flavours. Atmosphere inside is good, seating outside an option as well. As a solo traveller, I got seated at the bar since it was already very busy. Not sure if this would change for a solo person during less busy hours or not. Sitting at the bar was comfy though and the guy working the bar was very nice.

Honestly, this is a great place. I've been there 6 times already (dining in + take away), ordering a different dish each time and... I loved all of them. The quality of ingredients is high, waiting time for order is short, every dish I've tried was delicious, and I'm sure everyone can find something for them (there are vegan, vegetarian and other options). Last but not least - the Crying Tiger Team (waiters, bartenders, cooks) are adorable, helpful, smiling, especially Paula! Moreover, the place is pet friendly, very friendly! The only little remark I have is that there are booking slots - you can stay at your table for a limited time, which is enough to enjoy the starter and main course, but eating a full menu could be a bit challenging if you are a slow eater like me - this is to be taken into consideration if you do not wanna be disappointed in case you are used to typical restaurants where you can take all the...

We ordered 3 starters and one main dish. I was not so hungry. When our main course arrived they gave me rice with my starter. I told the server I did not want rice and he removed it.

Then when I got the bill I noticed they charged me 23 euros for my second starter (instead of 12 listed on the menu). We questioned this and the manager said it should have been obvious that they gave me a main dish portion. We said it was not obvious and we never asked for it this way. He agreed to correct the charge but told us not to return to the restsurant in the future.

I will add that we ordered a 50 euro bottle of wine and our bill was 117 euros after the correction. So for us it was not about trying to save some money but just being fair about a mistake on their part.

They seem to not care about positive customer relationships so this is good to know. Grateful for...

The food was fine

But when I went to pay, the waiter handed me the EFTPOS machine with the option to leave a tip. There were three different percentages I could choose from. So I searched for the 'no tip' option, knowing it is often hidden. I clicked 'other' and was met with a screen where I could type in an amount. By default it was 0€, but the option to click 'enter' wasn't clickable. At this point I was really confused, so I just pressed 5. This made the amount change to 0.05€. The waiter immediately typed 2 more 0's so it changed to 5€, and clicked enter before I could say anything.

I left feeling decieved and really uncomfortable from the interaction

I should have said something, but it's difficult when you are learning the language. A restaurant should not make customers feel they have no option...
