This was my favorite restaurant while spending a week in Perpignan for a photo festival and I ended up dining here for 3 of the 7 nights I was in town. The restaurant is located on the edge of a quiet plaza, which makes for an enjoyable outdoor dining experience without the bustle and noise of the outdoor seating in many city center restaurants. The quality of the food was outstanding for the price, the cocktails are works of art, but the real highlight was the incredible hospitality and warmth of the owners and staff, many of whom speak English. Traveling from Oregon, USA, we enjoyed a wonderful meal here on May 23, 2025. The tannic red and dry white wine recommendations were spot on. The red blend included the local carignan grape. We were surprised with a tasty tartare appetizer having just the right balance in spices - chorizo-like, but actuality of local Catalan origin. The asparagus lover was a delicious French-Asian fusion including curry and ginger. The Char Siu Shifou excellently prepared sesame sweet pork - just what we were looking for. Hidden behind the station area, this place turned out better than expected. The interior was decorated with care and the terrace felt welcoming, so the mood was already good from the start. The kitchen worked fast and the food arrived fresh, with plates that combined local style with some Asian taste. Drinks were not forgotten either, the cocktails menu was well balanced.
