Koté Mer — Restaurant in Pointe-à-Pitre

Just left this establishment @ 10:53pm, my boyfriend and I were walking on the beach and wanted to have 1 drink after dinner. Walked up to the bar where there was a group of people waiting to close out their tab. We were ordering a drink and a manager yelled at the bartender who was taking our order that the service is finished and to “STOP!”, that they’re closed. We found this incredibly rude as he yelled it across the room and even startled the customers waiting and the bartender. Just left a really sour taste because we were willing to contribute to...

I ordered the cod accras and they were alright although I couldn't really taste the fish. The shallot vinaigrette was pretty good. Got a Punch Planteur and that was nice and loaded. Service was disorganized but everyone was super nice and drinks and food arrived timely. Probably a little expensive but you're really paying for the beach...

Une expérience lunaire dans ce restaurant. En vacances en Guadeloupe, nous avions envie de manger un plat dans notre airbnb donc nous cherchions des plats à emporter. Nous sommes donc entrés dans ce restaurant où nous avons été accueilli par ce qui me semblait être le gérant. Nous avons demandé s’il faisait AUSSI des plats à emporter et celui-ci nous a littéralement agressé car il avait mal compris notre question en nous disant « vous pensez que je ne fais QUE des plats à emporter ??! » . Nous avons tenter de lui expliquer que ce n’était pas notre demande mais celui ci ne nous a pas laissé en placer une, nous affichant littéralement devant tout les clients du restaurant et nous demandant de partir car il était bien trop obtu pour se rendre compte de son erreur et trop arrogant pour se montrer courtois. Bien que nous n’ayons pas eu le temps d’y manger, un accueil pareil et si désagréable mérite d’être noté. Nous n’y mettrons plus jamais les pieds.
