Ô cœur de l'Orient — Restaurant in Reims

Living in a neighborhood with many people from north Africa for 20 years I know this kind of food very well. Also having spent much time in Morocco I know this food from this point of view also.

What can I say this is the best Moroccan food I’ve had anywhere!

Also I think it is one of the best restaurants in Reims.

We had a soup a traditional soup called Harira. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and the taste was incredible.

Then we both had Tajines chicken and lemon also incredibly delicious with nice little olives floating in it.

For dessert some incredible pastries how to finish a mint tea.

The waiters and waitresses are also dressed in traditional costume and Essen musician we appreciated the incredible Maghrébine music

The food was authentic and delicious, huge portions that you'll never finish. The staff make you really feel like you're at a friend's house, they were so friendly! ⚠️If I have to complain about 2 things: _it was cold inside and I had the feeling they couldn't warm the place up, I hope they could fix that. _the toilet needs some attention also, no soap to wash your hands when we visited. In the mood for some couscous, I looked up this restaurant on a map app, noted its solid, high rating and set forth. Am I glad I did. The food was wonderful and Amin, the host, made my day. What a great spirit he has, especially welcomed by someone who travels alone and can spend long periods of time in silence.
