Le Fournil Vasselot — Restaurant in Rennes

We were here many times. Every time, we were greeted by workers who come with bad attitude. I can get over it as one may say it is French service But today is unacceptable

The short guy who served us crammed 8 pieces of cake in one box. We cannot say anything because he said it would be fine. Of course, it is not, when we opened the box, all 8 pieces were a mess. Also, he charged us 10 pieces instead of 8 and when we asked for the change, he said he could not do anything (again!!) And he wrote a tiny piece of paper so that next time we are here, we can use it as a 'discount'.

It is not much money but what is wrong is wrong. Bad service is bad service. Enough...

I genuinely believe that this bakery is one of the best bakeries I have ever been to in France. This bakery has incredible prices and incredible food. I could not believe the price of the beautiful pastries as my order of 3 elaborate pastries and a coffee were well under 10 euro. I was genuinely impressed and wish that all bakeries in France may replicate the hospitality and price range that this bakery offers to its clients.

My favourite patisserie in Rennes!!! I got a lot of different patisserie desserts from there for my birthday or even just take out for brunch at park with my friends, the staff was very friendly, I speak French however a friend of mine doesn’t, she told me they can also speak English. So it gives me want to write this review, you guys deserve a five stars!! My favourite all the time is the cheesecake, and the other one but I had no idea what’s the name. Truly recommend...
