Captain Frenchy SXM — Restaurant in Saint Martin (France)

I cannot recommend avoiding this establishment enough after the awful experience I had. While the food itself was decent, the service completely ruined the meal. One staff member in particular (Mr.Jeep). was downright rude, normally I wouldn't care if the waiter drinks at the bar with patrons if he could handle his liquor but Jeep was clearly not one of them. At one point he got so rude that we couldn't take it anymore and had to leave. Other patrons noticed that as well.

As if the rudeness wasn't bad enough, when I brought the issue up with the owner after the meal, they completely dismissed my complaint and refused to apologize or take any action. It was clear they do not value their customers nor care at all about providing a positive dining experience.

I gave this restaurant more chances than I should have after the initial terrible encounter. But after the owner himself made it clear my business means nothing, I will definitely not be returning. No matter how good the food may be, the customer service here is the absolute worst I've experienced. I would suggest all looking for a meal out to steer clear of this place entirely unless you want to be treated poorly and have your concerns ignored. An apathetic owner and openly rude staff should not be rewarded...

Have been here may times over the years and loved it. Brought friends today bragging about how great it is. Server took 4 orders delivered 3 meals and never brought the 4th. Walked past us repeatedly and never realized she forgot a meal. When we brought it to her attention she seemed confused. She came back to our table and said my meal would be ready in 10 min. Since the rest of our party had finished their food and were ready to leave I told her to cancel the order and to please bring me the check. She delayed bring the check and came back to the table and said my meal would be ready in 5 min. I again said no and to cancel the order and to bring me the check. Three min later a different waiter came to the table with my original order that I had told her to cancel twice. The rest of our party had finisher their meals 15 min earlier! They finally brought the check minus my meal. Note: this is off season and the place...

Sooooo I think I’m the first person to adress it!! Bring back the old owner we was here last year he was such a sweetheart good energy kid friendly and talked to everyone that entered frenchys The old staff had a great vibe the bar was always popping local and tourist had a great time together

Nowwww we went last week New owner new staff and the atmosphere has changed its almost depressing to see how things went down

Boutique nobody to help you because they ladies talking and the bar

The only one that really be doing his work it’s the guy with the hat on he is great

Closing the restaurant at 6???? In grand case whereeee

And don’t say it’s because off season Tropics and rainbow was open and we saw ppl enjoyed their self

If you want fancy and good vibes go to rainbows

If you want local and reallllll vibes nice food Go to the newly opened beach bar and restaurant Tropics
