Le Gourmet — Restaurant in Saint Martin (France)

Curious how this place doesn't have yet a Michelin star, or at least being mentioned in their catalog. I had high expectations going into this place, and they were surpassed actually by the quality of the food, the presentation of the plates, and overall high etiquette of this magnificent restaurant. My fillet mignon was cooked to perfection, the duck breast mini burgers were also delicious and a great start for the main course. Le Gourmet is a beautiful restaurant. Very romantic. We came for Valentines night while staying at the resort. There was a preset menu and the food was excellent!! Or should I say the food was excellent after we finally received it. The service level was deplorable. We were "served" by the hostess who looked like a deer in headlights. Such a wonderful, unexpected find on our recent trip to St. Martin. On a recommendation, we decide to visit Anse Marcel.
