We stopped for a quick bite after a long delay in arriving for vacation. Little did we know we stumbled upon the most perfect gem. Sammy is so nice and welcoming as well as the other staff. We immediately felt like we had been friends forever. Big bright smiles, easy conversation, and a lot of delicious food! But wait, then there is OREO!! The little black and white dog that stole our hearts. Smiling and giving butt wiggles, it was all we could do to not fly him home with us but this is his home and he looks well taken care of. The staff and patrons take care of him, be sure to give him love and an order of chicken! Gonna really miss that little guy!
The food! The Lasagna, Lobster Ravioli, PIZZA!!! All amazing! We ate here 3 times in 5 days because we just couldn't stay away. When you have a great thing, you just don't let it go. If you're on the island just do yourself a favor and swing by. What a beautiful lasting...
Read moreMamma Pizza, a charming little eatery located on the main thoroughfare on Av. du lagon, is run by the owner who personally greets his guests. The ambiance in the evening is delightful, and the enticing aromas wafting from the kitchen are simply irresistible. The food, prepared in the restaurant’s own kitchen, is served fresh and hot. Given its popularity in the area, be ready for a bit of a wait for your food. But then again, you’re on a stunning island where time seems to stand still. Soak in the atmosphere and engage in lively conversation while you wait. The menu isn’t extensive, but it should cater to most people’s tastes. They are particularly known for their pizza, which we ordered and found to be absolutely scrumptious. Parking is somewhat limited due to the narrow road, but once you’ve parked, you can take in some fantastic views. The service is amiable and welcoming. We had an...
Read moreWe enjoyed our first meal so much we visited again during our stay in St. Martin.
We tried both the Caprese and Sicilienne pizzas. Both were good. The capers on the Sicilienne were a nice complement to the salty anchovies and olives. My favourite part of both pizzas was the dough. Easily the best we had on the island.
We also had the lasagna. Top tier. You will enjoy it if you are a cheese lover.
If I had to make one note to the restaurant, I would suggest that they be slightly more prompt with the delivery of the bill once requested. On both visits we were waiting longer than expected after our meal to pay the bill. We were not in a rush to go anywhere, so it wasn't an issue, but I wanted to point it out as it would improve the experience for...
