The location and view are very nice. However my daughter received an entirely uncooked croque monsieur. When I raised this, the waiter was very defensive and, because my daughter had eaten some of it as she didn't want to make a fuss, he seemed frankly astonished I would mention it. My wife's and my salads were okay but not great. A shame, as the service otherwise during our holiday in the Dordogne and Bordeaux has been universally warm and welcoming. The outdoor restaurant has nice views and the food was good, except the very hard and chewy bread. We were the only table where they did not bring out a pitcher of water, even though we ordered a full menu with drinks and dessert. They also made us wait a long time for the dessert while everyone else who ordered later, paid and left already. The young girl looked perplexed when she had to give change back and did not get a tip. C'est la vie,...

We had great ice cream today.

The view is great and surrounding as well.

Our waitress was slightly confused though, if I order 4 scoops of ice cream and the menu only offers 1, 2 or 3 she assumed you can't order 4.

She was also not to confident with the ice cream flavors and there English names.

I do believe they got one flavor wrong though.
