OMEA BEACH - Restaurant Bord de Mer Porto Vecchio — Restaurant in Sartène

We booked a reservation at this beautiful, beachside restaurant with live music at sunset as it was near our hotel. The overall atmosphere was idyllic, and despite the obvious high prices, the potential for a beautiful night was unlimited -- but it all ended there! The live music was WAY too loud - you could not carry out a conversation without yelling. The service was truly horrible. Despite having an abundance of host staff monitoring, the wait staff was overwhelmed with many anxious tables unable to order, get additional drinks, or pay. After we were seated by host staff, wait staff never came to our table to provide water or ask if we wanted drinks to start - crickets for 15-20 minutes. Then the mosquitos starting biting, and the restaurant had not provided any proactive countermeasures for this obvious inevitability. We continued to be unable to get the attention of any of the overwhelmed wait staff while host staff continued to stand around. Then the table next to us had their delicious meal delivered, and within seconds, two of the three girls at that table shot out of their chairs and there meals were completely overwhelmed by a plague of flies and bees. We went to this restaurant for our last night and it was amazing! Especially pizza’s, I never ever eat pizza the last time I eat was 2 years ago I am super picky :D but the dough the ingredients all of it was amazing! We ordered these: -crab tacos=nice crispy crab inside soft taco with guacamole it was nice refreshing i wouldn’t say definitely must have but nice to have if you’re crowded -fish carpaccio=amazing, with passionate fruit it was super good must have -octopus=great, soft, well portion size big -burrata tomate=super nice especially if you eat with pizza -piquante pizza=amazinngggg must have!!! Beautiful setting on the beach. Arrived at around 6pm and the restaurant wasn't even officially open but they said they could serve me.I wanted the calamari frites and they said we've "sold out" already - not sure how as no other customers were there to order yet! I then asked for the Regina pizza (ham, mushroom and olives) which was €15, but the waitress said mushrooms are out of season so it's off the menu. She then recommended the €14 margherita pizza and said they can just add ham and olives to it which I agreed and ordered. The Pizza was delicious however they stung me €5 for 2 "extra" toppings of ham and olives on a margherita so it was €19 for what a Regina pizza ncluded that would normally cost €15 and yet it didn't even have the mushrooms??
