VIP Beach — Restaurant in Sartène

Stay away from this place! Owner attacked me just because I was going on the beach with metal detector! They are not adequate, arrogant and aggressive people! I wanted to call the police but than decided not to ruin my vacation.. You can see other people comments here that owner says that he bought this beach and he attacks people that he doesn’t like. Worst place in Corsica, it’s just a shame how they treat tourists.

*In the answer owner lies that customers were disturbed, they never attacked me and that they were not saying that they bought that beach. That is all complete lie! They attacked me and there were no customer at the beach in front of their restaurant at all and they were screaming that beach is private and was bought by them! That proves that they are liers, bad people that will not say sorry no matter what! At the same day I was metal detecting everywhere and nobody had a problem or attacked me. Very little VIP. Only rates are VIP high. For example 8,5€ a bottle of water. Beds 30 cm from each other. No services offered in beach , no towels, fresh water etc. they passed only once to ask if we needed something for the whole day and the place was empty. Maybe max 20 -30 people a Sunday high season on their sun beds and anyway no service. Last but not least, quite unacceptable, when at 16:30 we wanted an drink and some food they said bar was closed due to a private party that evening this is Unacceptable when you charge 80€ for 2 old sunbed and a parasol. They could have informed us already the day before we booked. I have no problem to pay for service and luxury but this is not the place to do that according to me. A place we will not return to. Le cadre est splendide (comme tous les restaurants de plage en Corse). Nous réservons une table pour 10, nous commençons par demander à notre charmante serveuse s'ils acceptent de modifier les compositions des pizzas. Elle nous répond "OUI" avec un grand sourire. Nous commandons donc 3 reginas SANS JAMBON (et oui, beaucoup de personnes, de nos jours, ne mangent pas de jambon), une calzone (thon, fromage, œuf, champignons), des pizzas à la truffe et des tomates mozza. Après 45mns d'attente, les reginas arrivent avec du jambon !!!!! Nous appelons la serveuse (qui avait noté en gras la mention "sans jambon" sur son bon) , les pizzas repartent pour revenir 45 SECONDES plus tard, visuellement sans jambon mais en cherchant un peu le pizaiolo n'avait pas tout enlevé!!!! Ma calzone à moitié consommé je me rend compte que l'œuf n'y est pas ! (l'œuf est hyper important dans la calzone)... Décidé à ne pas laisser passer cette seconde erreur, je fais part de mon agacement à notre charmante serveur qui ramène ma demie calzone en cuisine pour me la ramener 1 minute après avec un œuf brouillé posé sur la demie pizza en me rétorquant que le chef est énervé !!!!! Nous demandons à voir la directrice du site qui fait preuve de compréhension en nous proposant de refaire les pizzas, la calzone et nous offrir les cafés... Appétit coupé, déception, nous déclinons sa proposition et demandons l'addition. Cette plage porte très mal son nom... Quelques heures plus tard, nos enfants prennent une table, ils commandent des sushi, le poisson à tourné, ma femme dit gentiment au serveur qu'il y a un problème avec le poisson, il lui réponds "c'est avec vos enfants qu'il y a un problème...", il lui dit "appelle moi ton mari que je lui règle son compte, je ne parle pas aux femme", il l'a poussé violemment, mon fils de 16 ans s'interpose, il se fait rouer de coup, il vient me chercher en pleure sur la plage, j'arrive furieux pour m'expliquer avec le serveur et là 10 malades mentaux sortent de la cuisine prêts à me casser la gueule. Une bagarre générale commence, j'essais de calmer les choses, je règle mon addition dans la precipitation et je m'en vais de cet endroit de dingue. Je ne suis visiblement pas le seul à avoir été victime de violences physique... Allez jeter un œil sur les avis...
