La Plage de Saint Cyprien — Attraction in Sartène

Beach is ok, nice, shallow and warm water, there is enough place for everyone to put their towels and umbrellas. Yes, there are leftovers of algae in the sand, but hey, this is a beach, it is expected. There are few rocks in the middle of the beach, and few places with natural shade. There are also some boats parked there, but all in all it is ok. Parking is free and located right next to the beach, can be crowded but we found a place on Monday july 10th, around 11am. La Plage de Saint Cyprien is a very nice beach with lots of activities and warm ocean water. Very clear water for snorkeling with beautiful small fish to see and even spotted a yellow moray eal in the underwater grassy eilands in the bay not far from the shore. lots off parking and easy access to the beach with natural shade from the surounding trees. The kids did parasailing and tubing behind the boat in the bay very safe. There are rentals for wind surfing, paddling wake boarding, wing foilling and much more activitiea to keep you busy for days. Overall, it’s a pleasant and laid-back beach, especially if you walk a bit further toward the center, as there’s a slight smell near the entrance. It’s not too crowded, so you can enjoy some peace and quiet. There are plenty of shaded spots under the trees, and the clear, shallow water is great for cooling off. Parking is easy with lots of space available.
