What an absolute gem of a place this is 🤩 71 Rue Saint-Nicolas, 49400 Saumur, France Sharing platters of local hams, cheeses and a veritable array of local beers and wines on offer. The hosts are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and so helpful with their advice on local producers of charcuterie, fromages and wine. Great vibe and ambience. My wife and I have been travelling in Spain and France for two months, and have visited several wine regions enjoying the best they have and their differences. Beautiful locally owned wine bar with a small food menu. Don’t be put off by the lack of wine list - local wines are brought up daily from the cellar and displayed on the boards inside.
