Lovely experience. We only ordered a bowl of chips (fries), two cheese plates and some drinks, but we were pleased with the service and the food. The cheese plates were delicious, and came with bread too, which the waiter refilled with no extra cost (this may be customary in France – we come from Britain, and didn't expect it,) and the young one found the bread to be exceptional, although that might just be her love of bread. This location was very generous with the amount of chips, and this was appreciated as they were shared between the two kids. The beer was lovely, and the coffee was nice. The waiter was very friendly and had a good sense of humour, encouraging the young one when she tried to order despite her limited French, and generally being very friendly and welcoming. Read moreWe arrived as a large group of children and adults (20) and we were treated to a magnificent meal and amazing service. All the adults and children ate very well. Entrecote and Bavette steaks were delicious and the sauces that came with were delightful. Homemade cheese, onion and pepper sauces were all very yummy, the burger was cooked every well with a great helping of cheese too.
The menu was a great mix of french food and had great children menu options too. Wine and food was very reasonably priced and our visit was one of the highlights of the holiday.
Language barrier didn't make a difference and was part of the experience....

Lisa was suprler helpful and we even went off the menu to oder double egg and chips and a cheese and ham omelette..... Both were delicious and nothing was too much trouble. Sampoed bread and butter pudding, it's not something I would go for, but I would recommend, sweet, light and the creme Englaise (thin custard for uk-ers) added to it.
