What a pleasant surprise this cute little restaurant was! The food tasted very authentic, having travelled a lot around the world, I must say that they put their heart into it and it shows in the plate. The plating was slick and the lovely lady who was serving us was an absolute gem! Very kind and professional with good recommendations and always with a smile. I will come again to try more Laotian cuisine.

Restaurant trÚs bien aménagé, l'ambiance est top, on peut manger quelques plats végétariens mais il y a peu de choix. Le repas était trÚs bon mais il y avait de la coriandre dans mon plat, que j'ai pris exprÚs parce que je n'aime pas ça et que ce n'était pas marqué sur la carte, heureusement que sur le dessus, j'ai pu l'enlever, ensuite le cocktail était vraiment trÚs peu dosé en alcool et avait un goût de jus de fruit de supermarché donc je baisse un peu la note. Ensuite la carte est bourrée de faute mais je n'en tiens pas trop rigueur, on comprend que les patrons sont peu familier avec le français.

Restaurant is clean. Service is very good. Owner goes all out to please the customer. We ordered Pad Thai on our 1st visit and decided to come back for more the next day. The next day, We ordered chicken with almonds and rice as well as squid with basel rice. Both were excellently cooked and tasted delicious. We were staying in Shiltigheim on a home exchange and found Bane Lao close by. We had an amazing dinner there. The food was excellent and the service top-notch....Also the owner was sooo helpful as we had locked ourselves out of our house and he helped us find a locksmith to get back in.... Would return...
