Le Zèbre de Magny | Restaurant Magny-le-Hongre (77) — Restaurant in Torcy

After quite a journey travelling down through the Paris traffic jams, arrived quite late and tired to the area, this restaurant was a great end to the day for family of four. (boy 10 and girl 4) Staff were very welcoming with a beautiful attitude and genuinely taking pride with their service. my little girl had pasta (her favourite) and my boy had chicken nuggets (which looked handmade pieces of chicken breast - not processed frozen bites) . Salmon and fresh tagliatelle for myself, which was cooked and tasted perfect, one of best meals I've had and will remember. At one point my little girl dropped her knife on the floor, within seconds the waiter was over with a replacement without being asked (how did he know was a knife)

Grateful to the staff for speaking English. I'm sorry my French is very limited. must try harder.

Prices average for the area, but the quality is what really makes this restaurant standout. Good parking and supermarket adjacent for stocking up on water for hotel. If you are visiting the area for Disneyland then recommend for an escape from the crowds. A relaxing and...

Alright, rarely I feel obliged to post personal opinions but in this case it’s more than deserved. We went for a couple of „Disneyland days“. Stayed at one of these Disneyland hotels near Magny le Hongre. Went to the to get a bit of France itself and found this restaurant at the center. Ambience: great, cosy, elegant, french…. All of it. A place you simply feel comfortable. Locals come here to eat. Staff: mainly French, speaks basic German and English. There’s a menu card in English. Super friendly Food: the menu card changes every day and is majorly french food. Whoever doesn’t like this can stick to classical salads, burger or fries. But even this is perfectly done. Prices: not cheap but average/ normal Central Europe prices. You get huge portions for this and Michelin star quality.

We visited here as a family of 3 while on holiday at Disneyland Paris and it was such a lovely treat.

The location is great for our hotel (Dream Castle), just a 15 min walk and next to the supermarket and pharmacy for the local town.

The service was excellent; the waiter spoke perfect English, was attentive and friendly. They have menus in available in English and a child’s menu too.

The food is EXCELLENT. Delicious classic French food, reasonably priced, fresh, perfectly cooked and everything that you want after 3 days of yellow food at Disneyland.
