On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful and I cannot fault them. ||The room was always kept clean and was attended to daily. The bed was very firm and only had two pillows. We requested more when we left for a couple of hours and they were not there when we returned at around 10:30 so asked at reception again and they came within 15 minutes. ||We requested a kettle and an iron for the room. Kettle was a no and the reason we were given was because people cook noodle in them so the stopped allowing guest to have them but you can ask the bar for hot water. Which is not useful if you need hot water in th night. So if you want a kettle I suggest you bring your own travel kettle. For the iron you need to go to the shop near the bar where you can have one for free but you have to leave with them your passport or your debit or credit card which they keep until you return it. There is a tv showing only French Chanel’s. There is a hair dryer in the bathroom and the shower was powerful enough, but not the greatest. Other than that I can’t complain about the cleanliness of the hotel/room overall.||Breakfast! Ok so there are signs around the hotel that tell you not to bring bags into the breakfast room and that you cannot take food out of the breakfast room with you. We did not see those signs and turned up with our backpacks ready for Disney and we got refused entry was told to take our bags back to our room and come back. However, there are lockers just to the right of the restaurant you put the locker number in choose your own pin and you can keep it locked in there and then to remove it. You just put the locker number and the pin so we just did this first the next day, as we wanted to go from breakfast straight to Disney. The breakfast itself there was a very small selection of cooked sausages but like pepperoni which was either luke warm or cold, there’s beans which, agin either luke warm or cold. There are potato slices which are crispy which will always cold too or maybe luke warm if you were lucky. There’s chocolate croissants, plain croissants, Nutella jam honey syrup, pancakes, cooked tomatoes, fresh ones some kind of omelette as such again that was no make out too there’s small I would say baguette that I’ve been cut up into small squares. You have a cold continental such as your hand to cheese through yoghurt cereal I only saw Coco pops and like cornflakes they do provide normal milk , soya and oat milk. There is a tea coffee hot chocolate machine machines as well as you fruit juices. There is a microwave too. The plates are the size of a side plate and you are given a small tray which you have to take to the food area and when your finished you have to clear your table. If you don’t they don’t let you leave until you have they stop you until you please clear your table. ||The bar offers food to buy which looked ok. The tried to me tell me I had to pay £2.50 for ice and tap water and hot water, unless I brought something. Which was crazy! Luckily my friend just brought a drink! The shop in the hotel is expensive. Price of a Coke or fizzy €4.90 at the bar or shop. There is a super market nearby.||The bus was free to and from the park which run until 11pm but these times are available on the Disneyland Paris app. Can be very overwhelming and overcrowded at times. Sometime it will stop at other hotel other time not. Couldn't work it out. We heals back about an hour or so after the fireworks and the bus was a lot quieter. ||This a good base to put your head down. But would not recommend if you wanted to spend time here especially with kids. It’s a very budget hotel a bit on the lines of a travel lodge without tea and coffee facilities in the room. It’s basic, clean and friendly enough. But as expected with most hotels is very overpriced. ||I hope you found this...
Read moreI thought at first Camponile was a hotel, hower once I got there it looked like really beautiful dorms which were immaculately maintained by the groundsman and the cleaners. They are very hard workers and do a very good job, they should feel proud. There is a groundsman who also tends to the mini farm and the animals each day. ||One of my family members booked an electric wheelchair, however she was unable use this as you cant really use this at the metro due to stairs and the shuttle bus don't allow them on. We were informed by reception that we could not get a taxi from the complex to Paris also, so accessibility is very limited for those with mobility issues.||Within my room the television is only in the French language. We did ask reception if we could have english subtitles put on but she was unable to do this. There is no fridge or kettle tea/coffee or glasses for a drink in the rooms so you have to either go into the resteraunt or bar to get food or drink. The room and bathroom was very clean, hats off to the cleaners as they do a fantastic job as they clean the rooms each day.|| The resteraunt is only open at breakfast time and dinner time and the prices are average for being in france but more expensive than what you would pay in the UK. You are not allowed to take any bags into the resteraunt to get breakfast as I was informed people was taking food back to their rooms. The breakfast was really lovely with a selection of sallads, fruits, breads, ham, cheese and then cereals and English breackfast to choose from. They provide water, fresh juices and hot beverages. This was included in the holiday package. The only downside to the breakfast i found was the scrambled eggs. They tasted as if they were made from artificial ingredients instead of eggs and there was no English tea bags. You can sit in or outside the resteraunt at meal times which was lovely. The staff in the redteraunt were very friendly , polite and helpful. ||The bar snacks which were made up of a limited choice of sandwiches, panini's, salads and muffins and sweets. I was €15.90 for a pizza, €9.90 for the panini, €10.90 for a baguette sandwich and €4 for a muffin. Bottled water and juice are very expensive at €4.90 for soft drinks and €3.80 for bottles water. Crisps were €3 a bag. Because there was no fridge in our rooms we could not buy from the supermarkets as the food would have gone off.||My room was to sleep up to 4. It was small and outdated with the bunk beds and vanity unit looking a bit worn of its colour. |There is a very small.park but this I would say is aimed at the ages of 1-3 years. There is a mini farm which is lovely, it has goats, donkeys, pony's, alpacas and rabbits. They seem to be very well cared for. The arcade/play room for children comprises of arcade games at €2 per 1 game which i found expensive. There is nothing in the arcade which is free which is unfortunet.||The staff were very friendly and helpful. However I do feel that if you have mobility problems it would be more beneficial to book somewere within Paris. ||These are my own opinions and are based on what I have observed and...
Read moreI'm really not sure why some people have rated it so critically. ||For a hotel used by Disney, the price is reasonable. We all know Disney is overpriced and the prices of the stay and the items at the shop were as expected.||One negative was that when I looked online someone had said that they have USB charging ports in the room and they do not. However, this was posted by another guest so I can't blame the hotel. The first night I charged my phone with the TV and then bought an adapter plug. It would be nice for a USB port to save guests buying adapter plugs, but nevermind.||The same guest had said there was a kettle, there is not. If you're that desperate, take your own. The only negative with that, is as a Brit the only tea we could have was the Starbucks 😂 but we survived!||The breakfast was basic but no different to a Premier Inn for example. The bread was nice, they also served cereal, pain au chocolàts, croissants, hot options, salad, fruit, pancakes and yoghurt. There were also hot drinks machines (no tea, only mint tea) and juice dispensers. All you can eat, so for €15 it was good value, there are deals to make it cheaper.|Other food served was in the bar, they served pizza, paninis and baguettes. Price as you expect and the pizza was ok. Perfect for late evenings when you're hungry from walking around all day.|We didn't use their restaurant so can't comment.||All the staff we encountered were lovely. Polite, friendly and helpful. I've read other reviews saying they were impolite but I just can't believe that. We were there a week so met a lot of the staff and I couldn't fault a single one. I did see guests being rude to them, however. They handled it professionally and politely and continued to serve us with a smile. Another reviewer suggested they were only rude to 'English speakers', that is absolutely not true.||The animals were so sweet and clearly well cared for. You could see the donkey/ponies from my room.||The bed was comfortable, I slept well. The only negative about my sleep was that the walls are quite thin. I was woken a few times by guests coming in late at night.||The hotel was very clean. I can see someone has posted photos of their room in disrepair, I looked around mine and found no faults. The cleaners came on daily, no issues.||There was a place to leave suitcases (free) which is perfect if your flight is late as check out is 11am. It did glitch but the staff dealt with it really quickly.||It was the first hotel the shuttle drops off to so great when the bus is full because you don't have to wait! Also first pick up.||There is also a supermarket and patisserie 5-10 minute walk down the road if you want something different.||On the other side of the hotel grounds there is a lake and a nice walk that links some...
