Brasserie des Salins — Restaurant in Toulon

We ate lunch at la Brasserie des Salins. Our first problem was that we tried to order some pasta with a bit of butter for one of the kids. This was not possible, although there were other menus on the list that had pasta as side. Maybe just a misunderstanding.

Then thee food itself was rather disappointing. The steak was almost black, the ribs were good, the salmon tarar was so-lala.

The finishing touch was a piece of plastic that was in on of the childrens glacé.

The server seemd to have a very bad day.

All in all I don't want to go there again, on the other hand it shouldn't be too difficult to improve...

Great restaurant. The location is superb, right on the port with a light breeze and view of the harbor. I've eaten here several times and have been impressed by the welcoming warm attitude and professionalism of the staff. The food here is fresh and delicious and the portions are huge!!! My food comes quick even during rush hour and the drinks are top notch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone...

Eté 2017 j'y suis allé très régulièrement étant chez de la famille qui habite aux salins. J'ai un peu goutté à tout et n'ai pas été déçu . Les pizza sont super, bien garnies et délicieuses en particulier la pizza corse . J'ai du y manger 7ou8 fois et la cuisine était vraiment très bonne. Ayant passé un cap cuisine il y a une quinzaine d'années j'ai jeté un pti coup d'œil en cuisine et ait discuté avec les cuisiniers. Beaucoup de produits frais . Niveau service pour ma part j'ai grave apprécié. Une équipe professionnelle , sympathique et apparemment une super ambiance. Le seul bémol par moment la patronne qui n'était pas des plus souriante. Le patron hyper commerçant , qui n'hesite pas a vous mettre sa tournée quand il remarque que vous etes venus plusieurs fois. La brasserie des salins n'as rien avoir avec l'ancien établissement "l'instant". En espérant y retourner courant l'été 2018. Établissement qui redonne un coup de vie aux salins hors saison. ...
