We had two 28€ menus for dinner. The food was not bad but not great either. Most of our food was very saucy and not so subtle. For starter I got a poached egg with some oriental yoghurt I liked the taste and it was my favourite part of the meal, my companion had a poulpo salad that was flavourful but too much sauce ruined the meal. For main dish we had a overcooked fish swimming in sauce and with an aubergine caviar that was tasteless and a lamb also with too much sauce. For the dessert we had a forgettable Baba with rhum and a chocolate and caramel pie that had nothing special. The service is nice and the place a good local wine selection. We also ordered several glasses of champagne. Through a translation error, the server brought the glass of champagne with ice. We told them this was wrong and we wanted a normal glass of champagne. They brought back the same wine that was clearly just with the ice strained out - it was weak in flavor and the color indicated it was diluted. There was also no contrition on the part of the lazy server. Tourist trap,...
