Avoid at all costs!
Those who have rated this restaurant have obviously never eaten Indian food! You can get better quality from Aldi or Lidle.
My experience...
A single free popadum with watered down condiments.
Starter = Chicken Tikka: I received a plate rammed with Lettuce and some morsel pieces of chicken that had been bought from a hypermarket. They were also obviously from the previous night. They were dry, tasteless and had a concertina effect on the surface. DISGUSTING! Take them away! I then had them replaced with mince in breadcrumbs. At least this was edible!
At this point I wanted to leave, but I need food quick and was hoping that they could not make a curry as bad! Agnue 'lamb' or mutton in this case madras came. Now I know curries! This was basically a watery base sauce precooked, with an unbelievable amount of salt in it. Obviously this amount of salt had bred added as a preservative in order for it to last several days of heating cooling. A definite no no!!! Added to this had been separately cooked meat and a cheap chilli sauce added as it tasted separate in your mouth. It was so obvious from the taste.
Avoid this place at all costs. Unless you want to burn your money, get food poisoning, or be put off Indian...
Read moreThis buffet includes 6-7 types of starter, 4-5 types of veg main course, 4-5 types of non veg main course with beef, chicken, prawn! 2 types of rice, choice of naan, 4 types of salad, 4 types of dessert, fruits, 4-5 flavors of ice cream.
About the taste: the taste is very homely, not too spicy, and not bland. properly balanced. except the butter chicken, which i found a bit sweet. but i think it might be to match the local palate. the chicken biriyani can be slightly more flavourful. I must recommend veg samosa, chicken roll, and prawn curry. Also, the salads were one of my favorites. Among desserts, a lot of people complained in reviews of lack of options, but each of the available ones was super tasty. So i will say the quality is good over the quantity.
The host is very welcoming. For 16 euro (for dinner, 11 for lunch), this place is a 10. I recommend this.
PS: You have to keep your own used plates and throw the food waste. Everything is arranged. You just have to put the things at the designated places. People may differ, but I find this practice very practical. This might make you use a lesser plate or make a little less food waste, which can save resources.
All together, i...
Read moreThere are numerous Indian restaurants in Toulouse, but most of them are catered to French taste, meaning not spicy at all... Having lived in Southeast Asia for a while, I'd sat this all-you-can-eat indian place serves relatively authentic Indian delicacies. I've eaten here twice during lunch time and I loved it! There are three to four kinds of starters such as Indian fried snacks and fragrant chickpea salad, various curries including seafood as well as vegetarian varieties, and a few kinds of dessert during lunch hours. I'd love to come back for their buffet dinner! Vegetarian /...
