Le Q de Bouteille — Restaurant in Tours

Le Q de Bouteille is a nice little restaurant at Azay-le-Rideau. They have a handful of indoor and outdoor tables and offer a menu of traditional dishes and wine. Separate lunch and dinner seating times, open daily.

We recently had lunch here after visiting the chateau which is no more than a 5 minute walk away. Service was friendly, lunch dishes priced reasonable, portions very generous and the quality of our food very good. Very much liked the guinea fowl prepared Normandy style with cream sauce and mushroom. Just as good was the grilled duck breast, served with salad and chips. Wine suggestions were good as well. Would gladly eat here...

As far as hardy good goes this place does a good job. The lunch menus are a great value (14.95 for two courses, 16.95 for three, and they're not small). I'd arrived on a bike in the rain and they let me lock it to a rose trellis on their wall and the server was very concerned that I was warm enough and had all I needed. Very nice little restaurant. Small and packed room but very charming. Go for the 2 or 3 course lunch menu from the board. It’s great value and tasty, simple French food.
