I also had a nice time here visiting with a friend the server was super attentive even to the point of not offering us wine until we had finished our aperitif the rillettes de thon that we had during the aperitif (friend had whisky, i had kir) were soooo good, and i never knew they existed huîtres: très bien plat: choucroute de mer dans un curry, très bon aussi, my friend was disappointed in his beef, but it seems like a place where it makes more sense to choose seafood on the entree ! I was surprised again as i’ve only had choucroute in Alsace with meat but with seafood it’s much more light and digestible the rapport between my company and the server was quite impressive We didn’t have dessert The price wasn’t bad for a restaurant of this quality, and they are one of the only good ones in Vannes open Sunday and Monday night when many things are closed in France

We celebrated the end of our vacation in Vannes at L’Atlantique in style with a seafood platter of epic proportions. The seafood was delicious and plentiful, the service excellent and my wife had the best dessert she ever had. Perle de golfe was the name and came highly recommended by the waitress. Mine was very good as well. They have a collaboration with a local master patessier and my wife’s dessert was exclusively created for the restaurant.

Was here twice. Fist was at daytime, havine a dinner. Nice and quite, good. But second time I was in the evening, Saturday, 3 waitresses for Patio (normal situation). Kitchen is good but the service is awful. May be because they think that they are special one of the popular (not the best) places of sea foodin Vannes. I had strange situation. I was alone. First i was sat in the corney of the table with otger people with the phrase: "pls, be careful, there is a man, dont bother him". Ok... I keep silance. Then i was given a new table in the centre of restaurant where everybody pushing me. Passed 10 min, my waitress take an order from everybody but not me. I saw that one table was empty and ask her is it possibale to change the place. Her answer was ok and she go away. It was really little space and i move a table with a chiar for my confort... But (its important) i dont bother anyone! Suddenly a man come to me and begine to cry...: "its my restaurant you cant move anything. Imagine if i change anything in your places! Its a place for two, its for my clients.". I asked him: And who am i...? ". It was nothing to say i was really shocked!!! Next to me was the same free table with MORE space for two... But he began to cry that its his place and if i dont like it i have to go. I cant say anything he didnt stop talking. Really... This is the FIRST time in france when smth like this happen to me. I change the place and make an order... AFTER 20 MINS! He can just asked me to change a place, i really dont understand the situation BUT at the end, the owner began to be more polite and less nervous, may be understand smth or may be because i made an order in france. So, as a result: 1. If you alone and english speaking you will be on the last points. 2. To make order - 20 mins. 3. Waiting between dishes 10-15 mins. 4. Waiting for the check - 25 (!) mins - but owner...
