Le Robbery — Restaurant in Vire

We come here fairly frequently for lunch when we are in Vire and the food is generally good however, today was disappointing. We shared the underwhelming planchette du mer (12 Euros) as a starter - the ingredients were of cheap quailty and unimaginative. Nothing was fresh. I had the mojito salad (13.50 Euros) for mains (basically a tiny bit of cod with a mostly green salad) which was also disappointing. The dressing was overly oily and lacked flavour and seasoning whilst, the amount of fish was sadly minimal. Poor value. My husband had the Robbery salad which, was pretty good and flavoursome as usual. The house wine is a good price however, on this and the last occasion we were here, the waitress omitted to bring us a bowl of aperitif crisps which, we noted, arrived at all the other tables. Produit du terroir et du fait maison. Des proportions plus que correct, c’est ce que nous recherchons lorsque l’on va dans un restaurant. Rapport qualité prix intéressant ! Le service a été professionnel nous nous sommes sentie vite à l’aise, le serveur a fait preuve de bonne recommandation pour le vin rouge, merci. Je recommande.
