To cut a long story short, avoid this place; you'll end up frustrated and disappointed. We searched for several seafood restaurants on Google, and this one had a 4.4 rating, so we thought it would be a good choice.
The restaurant is large and looks new. It was empty when we arrived, and the staff were friendly. We quickly received our drinks and fries. However, it took them 50 minutes to serve us the sea bass (which looked okay) and shrimp.
The shrimp were not clean; they still had their guts inside. When we asked to return them, they insisted that we pay the full bill because we had peeled some of them. After some back and forth with the staff, they removed the cost of the shrimp from the bill. Additionally, we had to pay for the sea bass (which we didn't eat) along with a 10% service fee that automatically added to our receipt.
Overall, it was the worst experience we've had in Batumi. I hope you find this...
Read morecame before a year ago for lunch, and came here again for dinner in summer
ordered grilled dorado, fillet mignon, duck and prawn salad
overall food is good with some disappointment
dorado is good and not overcooked but part of the fish wasn't fully cooked (the thick part of the fish). it was covered by the skin, but would rather they did this then overcook the whole fish
duck was overcooked and was too dry
fillet mignon was perfect, but the potato with cheese that came with it was already a little cold. the cheese was no longer melty - it should had been placed under a heat lamp or stay in oven to keep warm, it was likely cooked and just left there
salad with prawn is good, but the prawn had the same issue with potato, it was already a little cold and this was supposed to be a fried prawn, so its no longer as nice. the batter was a little soggy too.
overall food is decent, but could be better if they paid...
Read moreProbably the best restaurant in Batumi. Restorant has 3 floors for different type of evening. We went on third floor and it has just great view, good service and friendly, attentive staff. Food is dellicious and fish was extra fresh. Live music on first floor and piano at 3rd floor. Singer/pianist Maria Zaridze had the great voice and play very popular foreigh and georgian songs. Also I have to mention the owner, who was really very nice to me and my friends. And dont forget to taste doecial coffe from the owner, which is totally different and intensive. We got complimentary gift from him and it relly surprised us. Thank you Riviera! Highly reccomend this place! See my photos and visit this...
