After a full day skiing the slopes of Gudauri, when your legs are starting to feel the burn and all you want is something hearty and satisfying, Drunk Cherry delivers exactly what you need. Right in the heart of the village, it’s become a go-to spot for skiers and snowboarders looking to wind down with good food, a laid-back vibe, and maybe a drink or two. The atmosphere hits that sweet spot between cozy and casual. Wood accents, warm lighting, and a mix of locals and tourists make it feel welcoming without trying too hard. Whether you’re bundled up straight from the lift or dressed for dinner, you’ll feel right at home. The food is where Drunk Cherry really shines. The pumpkin salad is a standout—light but flavorful, with a nice balance of sweetness and texture. It’s a refreshing surprise in a mountain town menu. The beef medallions are tender and well-seasoned, cooked just right and served with sides that actually complement the dish, not just fill the plate. And if you’re craving something indulgent, the burger is a must—juicy, well-constructed, and seriously satisfying. The burger and medallions were so good I forgot to even take a picture of them. The service is friendly, efficient, and unpretentious. The staff keeps things moving even when it’s busy, and they do it with a smile. It’s clear they’re used to handling a hungry post-ski crowd and they do it well. Drunk Cherry is exactly the kind of spot you hope to find in a ski town—reliable, welcoming, and serving food that hits the spot. Whether you’re in for a quick bite or a longer evening with friends, it’s one of the best places to eat in Gudauri.

Probably the best restaurant in new Gudauri, expect slow service, 30 to 35 minutes to take order we waited another 30 min or more to get the food, and restaurant was at 30% occupancy, food is good i must say! We ordered 1 dish that should serve 4 people and waiter overloaded our table with food! All dishes were good, Bill came in Georgian , if you can’t translate (like me) you got a big bill! Still affordable but we found very mean and nasty to oversell or pretend they don’t know or don’t understand English, the guy brought food for 6 people , we were only 2! Most places they try to rip off tourists! Our bill supposed to be 90 lari plus drinks! And it came 230 lari, 1 star for clean and cool place, 1 star for quality of food, service need to improve dramatically, be more tourists friendly, and a big X for customer service! Georgia is a country that lives from tourism, i believe they have to look after them, it is not matter of squeezing and taking as much money as you can from tourists! very disappointed!

Honestly one of the best places in New Gudauri. May be in Gudauri itself. Main reason is that owner/manager has very well trained staff. Compare to most other restsurants in New Gudauri, here you can be sure that there will be always someone who look after you. Tap water free of charge is standard, like in other quality restaurants around the world. I have been there there many times, during winter,summer,day-evening.. they had never messed up my order. Lunch and dinner times are crowded,so reservation of table will be your advantage. If you come in a group, you can easily pay your bill separately, which is not obvious in Georgia. Sometimes you need to wait for food delivery, but this is question of cheff, not waitress. Menu is quite same for a few years, but everyone can choose easily and taste of food is always delicious. Furthermore live music in the evenings, stylish outdoor fireplace on the terrace and interesting desing make this place definately worth to visit. Enjoy your stay,Gaumarjos !

My friends and I visited Drunk Cherry in Gudauri on January 17, 2025, at 8:30 PM, and it was our first time in the area. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing due to the mistreatment we received from the staff, which completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable night. Unhelpful and Rude staff When we entered, the waitress informed us that there was no space available. When we politely asked if she could help us find a spot at the bar, she rudely told us, “Go find it yourself.” Eventually, we found a table that had just been vacated and needed cleaning. As we sat down, another waiter, Irakli, approached us and said in a disrespectful tone how “gross” it was to sit before the table was cleaned. He asked us to stand up and left without helping. • Unprofessional Attitude Toward Guests: Later, when we ordered food, I asked—after 15 minutes—how much longer it would take. Instead of answering politely, Irakli snapped, saying, “Miss, we are not McDonald’s; you have to wait.” His unprofessionalism was shocking, but I tried to brush it off to avoid ruining the evening further. • Shocking Incident with Stolen Jacket: The worst part of the night came when we were leaving. My boyfriend’s jacket, which had been hung earlier, was missing, and it contained his passport. We frantically searched for it and asked the staff for help, but they dismissed us and refused to check the cameras. While we continued searching, my friend noticed that Irakli, the same rude waiter, was wearing my boyfriend’s jacket and showing it off to his friends. When I confronted him, it turned out to indeed be our jacket. Instead of apologizing, he laughed at us, making the situation even more humiliating.

This entire experience was unacceptable, from the rude and dismissive service to the appalling behavior of the staff, especially Irakli. Stealing a guest’s belongings is not just unprofessional—it’s outrageous.

We left feeling disrespected and upset. I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues, as no customer should be treated this way. We won’t be returning, and I would advise others to be cautious when visiting.

I am not sure what the motives are, wether because we weren’t local thus easy to manipulate and take...

שירות גרוע ביותר, אוכל בינוני.

We arrived for dinner, 3 adults and 3 children, sat at a round table at the entrance to the restaurant. The waitress was impatient and when we asked to remove ingredients from the burger she told us that she would only agree to make a change for one dish and that all the other burgers would not be able to be changed. The burgers arrived at the table with an addition of onion rings and when we told her where the fries were she said that they were finished and that's what you get in the place!!! A waiter who respects himself and a place that knows how to provide service is obliged to inform the customer before and not after the fact. If we had known this in advance, we would not have ordered a burger, then we saw that burger dishes were served to the tables next to us and they had fries in the dish!!! We ordered a certain drink and then we made a change and the waitress still brought us the drinks we didn't order and didn't want to return them. At the end of the meal, despite the poor service, we decided to leave a tip for the waitress and at the height of her impudence she said that the tip was not enough and that it was not her fault in all the conduct, it was the fault of the kitchen and the place!!! My friend gave her an extra tip just so she would leave us alone so...
